A friend and I have been having a discussion thinking about who bounced around both companies the most.
Right now I'm pretty sure Dustin Rhodes/Goldust bounced back and forth the most going WWF, WCW, WWF, WCW and back to WWF. Then people like Hall, Nash, Jarrett and the Quebecers went either WWF, WCW, WWF, WCW or vice versa.
If you count NWA as WCW then Scott Steiner went NWA, WWF, WCW, WWE too, I think.
Can anyone beat Goldust or is there anyone I'm forgetting?
AND OH MAN, if you throw ECW in there, it gets even more cluttered, especially if you count the kayfabe WCW in the alliance.

Terry Funk is another one, I'll always run into Funk matches on YouTube and think "He was with ___ in this year? Really?"

Lex Luger was bouncing between WCW and WWF a few times. Rick Rude as well. Rude even managed to be on RAW (taped) and NITRO (live) on the same Monday night.

Heres 2 I can think of.
Jeff Jarrett- Was in wwf in 1993-early 96. Was in wcw in mid 96 to later 97. Was in wwf in late 97- no mercy 99 where he jobbed the ic title chyna. Shows up on nitro the very next night and stays in wcw till the wwf purchase in 2001 and is "fired" by vince mcmahon on tv. Finally in 2002 he founded tna.
Barry Windham- He might have the most jumps than anybody. Was at the first wrestlemania, So I believe he was in wwf from 1984-86. Went back to nwa in 87 and became a horseman in 88. Came back to wwf in late 89 and was "the widowmaker" for a very short time. Was in nwa/wcw again in 1990 where he stayed till 1995 I believe. By 96 he was back in wwf, this time as "the stalker", and later to team with bradshaw as the new blackjacks. By 98 he was again in wcw and had a short feud with flair and was also part of curt henning's west texas rednecks.

correct answer should be Terry Taylor (if we count inactive/backstage/booking roles as well): early-mid 80s appearances in NWA 88-90 WWF as Red Rooster 90-92 WCW as Terrence Taylor 92/93 WWF as Terrific Terry Taylor 93/94 WCW as Taylor Made Man from 95 WCW backstage role 98/99 WWF as writer/agent 99-01 WCW as writer/agent 2012 WWE trainer on NXT
