Does anyone know if Managers (Paul Heyman, Miss Elizabeth ect) are available in story design mode? It would be pretty rubbish if they arent, i have big plans for a story involving Heyman and Elizabeth. You can use them for it, yes.

I just played the Rock vs Austin at WM 19 for a good ten minutes and the first WM moment never triggered ... anybody know what it is or how to trigger it? I think you go for a rock bottom

Um, what's the 2nd hidden objective for Hogan/Warrior? The list of objectives are 1. whip Hogan at light damage 2. 1st Wrestlemania Moment (activates when Hogan is at critical damage) 3. Gorilla press slam and pin within 10 seconds. 4. Complete the 2nd Wrestlemania moment (activates when you cover after the press slam) 5. Hit an Ultimate Splash and pin within 10 seconds

I think you go for a rock bottom Yep, you have to rock bottom, and it'll be countered. Same thing applies for the second WM Moment. Here's some advice: store up three finishers for that one. Every damn time I'd go for it, Austin would reverse it.

I've had one glitch so far in the Wrestlemania mode during the triple threat. I punted Cena, and then went to do a running attack on Triple H to keep him from breaking the three in time, I hit triple H and froze him in place, and then I kept running the ropes without any ability to stop.

So, those of you who've spent a good amount of time in Universe...
1. Are the matches compelling, back and forth affairs with near falls?
2. Are there lots of cutscenes to progress stories and is there a good variation?
3. Does the AI still kick out after 1 when you hit them with your first finisher?
4. Are there any notable differences in the Normal and Epic match types in comparison to last year?

Andre the Giant beat Orton at Extreme Rules for the WWE Championship and now is set for a 12 week rivalry with Kofi Kingston not only over the WWE title, but also to determine the 1 true Wildcat in my Universe.

Why does that little sticker with the WWE logos and the show logos tiled in the background still have the ECW logo?

Since I'll be sitting around for a few weeks/months (I got into a nasty car accident and can hardly get out of bed), my girlfriend was nice and decided to pick up WWE 2k14 (PS3) for me yesterday. Initially I wasn't going to pick it up/wait for Christmas to see if someone got it for me. It was a fun surprise and a welcomed one since I've been getting bored. I figured I'd post this quick review: The Good:-The AI has improved quite a bit with this game. Almost none of my "win easy/dirty tricks" work any more and I have yet to discover new ones which means this game is more challenging resulting in longer play time and not breezing through it in one single go around. -Load times are far, far better. The graphic screens between things are almost a joke because they only appear for a second or two. -I have not had any server issues so far! There is some decent downloadable content from the fans out there so I've filled quite a few "Custom" slots. -I haven't had too many bugs thus far. No weird physics to report as of yet. I noticed a couple of issues while creating an entrance but that wasn't that big of a deal. There was one funny bug while watching move demos and the "dummy" wrestler had his leg completely twisted around backwards at the knee. -The amount of Custom Superstar slots is great! You can get a pretty massive, pretty interesting roster going. Later we shall see if Walter White can defeat the dreaded Starman of NES fame. -I love all the different arenas they have in here! No, they aren't all completely accurate but it adds a lot to the feel of the matches and can put you in the moment so much more. Speaking of, I really enjoy the reduction of color quality and the light film grain they add to the earlier matches. The Bad:-This game could have been advertised as "30 Years of Reversal-mania." I know that people complained that the last 2 games were too easy but holy shit does this get annoying. I like some of the smarter AI but Jesus Christ does this get annoying. The computer will beat on you for a good solid 5 minutes without a real chance to escape, reverse, or chance to defend yourself. That stupid f***ing icon telling you "Too Fast" or "Too Slow" is even more useless now. There is no "timing" a reversal. It is a f***ing lottery. Hands down the worst part of the game. -No real "new" match types. They have the Undertaker WM Streak mode but for f***s sake, I wish they would dig into the past and get a new match type or two in there and shake things up a bit. -The announcing is still off. Commentators will say things that don't quite apply. Example: Damien Sandow was eliminated from the Elimination Chamber and Cole says "Sandow with the Elimination!" Or if you lose certain title matches, they will announce the defending champion as "The NEEEW WWE Champion" or whatever. I've heard some guys haven't even had lines recorded for them/about them so the announcers won't mention their name(s). Also, they have sucked pretty hard with placing emphasis on names so when created wrestlers are announced, it can sound pretty awkward. That isn't something too new, but I have noticed it quite a bit this time around compared to 12 and 13. -I have had the game freeze on me twice within a day now. -Te crowd is sometimes worse than before when it comes to repeating sprites near each other. -The 30 Years of Wrestlemania mode is too similar to the Legends of Wrestlemania game that came out a few years back. This plays far, far better...but the objectives are close to the same and some of the character looks are way too similar for my liking (which feels like laziness on the developers part). -Matches with more than 2 wrestlers can be clunky at times. Also, the game can slow down from time to time during these or even during normal matches. -Not a fan of the pause between completing a Wrestlemania Moment task and the cutscene. It should feel a little more seamless. Summary:I don't advise anyone run out and buy this but I would recommend playing it between now and WM30 just for the huge nostalgia trip. There is still so much I have yet to discover. I'm sure there will be more to share soon enough. The most fun I have had thus far was creating a completely random and assigning tournament where the computer pics the stipulations for you. Below are the results:

I fixed the reversal sliders, setting everything to max for me, and lowering some of the AI sliders, and reversing is still a pain to do.

Well, i have to say that the new reverseal system really does help the matches flow much better. No more endless switching chain holds. I had a great match last night playing as Daniel Bryan vs. Triple H, and got plenty of near-falls. I finally lost when Triple H caught me with a catch Pedigree when I went up top. Super fun game, for those still debating on picking it up.
