So during the match Rhodes put his finisher on Orton, it appears to be variations of the same move.. Why is the RKO able to put a guy away for a 3 count while the CR couldn't get the job done?

God I really wish there was a power meter bar on top of their heads or something.. It really took me out of the match, I know Orton was poised to win.. But its the same move when it boils down to it.

Cody was getting hesitant, he lost hope for a second especially after that moonsault. Orton just got the better of Rhodes. + the knee shot.

Cena had some tweet crawl across the screen yesterday that said he'll be back stronger than ever, so I'm thinking by Survivor Series Cena is going to come back and wreck everyone on the roster. |

Orton has more HP than Rhodes so could survive the move. Rhodes with lower HP couldn't.

Because there is more impact with all of Orton's weight dragging your head down quickly than the whiplash of the Cross Rhodes.

Orton has more HP than Rhodes so could survive the move. Rhodes with lower HP couldn't. I was going to say some less referency variant, but I like the way you put it better. But to keep with the theme. Orton is the final boss, where Rhodes is just a selectable fighter. |

I always figure that having a belt gives a wrestler a +25% modifier to their finishing move's damage.
You also get to roll a d20 instead of a D12 on your saving rolls for kickouts.

Yes. I have always held the belief that power meter bars on top of their heads or something would go a long way in helping me suspend disbelief through unrealistic scenarios, like one man kicking out of a finisher and later winning the match with his finsher. |
