While we are in a bit of doom and gloom period storyline wise, eventually there will be time for some good old comedy. And in the last year, one of those main sources was the ongoing story of Daniel Bryan and Kane, under the supervision of Dr. Shelby. According to his twitter, he was around during Summerslam, not it stands to reason he could be brought back when the time is right.
And this summer, we've seen a higher than usual amount of friends getting in hated rivalries with one another, and most of them are still ongoing. But not all feuds last. So, which tandem should be the next project for Dr. Shelby?
CM Punk and Paul Heyman?
All the promos about love and friendship, it still seems like this story is only going to get more heated. But CM Punk clearly isn't going to be behind the corporation, and they apparently don't seem to like Heyman much either. The damage is probably done for this pair for right now, but Heyman guys always seem to go back to him eventually. This is probably a long term prospect, not something in the near future.
Alberto Del Rio and Ricardo Rodriguez?
They've been connected since they debuted, but now Ricardo is backing RVD in his attempt to take the World Heavyweight title from Alberto Del Rio. Del Rio's attack on Ricardo is definitely something you don't forget, but how long before the pair realize it just isn't the same without the other? I mean, Rey is coming back, and whats the point of that unless they can both troll him together like they always do?
AJ Lee and Kaitlyn?
AJ is the one who sent Bryan and Kane to anger management in the first place, and well, she's had her fair share of relationship problems, and the one she's held the longest is with her former BFF, Kaitlyn. After feuding at the top of the division over the summer, the rise of Total Divas threatens both of their spots. Should they come back together, or were the personal jokes and backstage brawls too much to overlook.
Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow?
When Team Hell No was going through their problems, their primary rivals were the Rhodes Scholars. After breaking up amicably and then immediately reuniting, everything was going good for these two, up until Money in the Bank. After Cody Rhodes lost his job on Monday, Sandow seemed rather delighted. Has the briefcase completely ruined this friendship, or is there still some hope for these two. I suppose Cody's employment is also a big hurdle that needs to be overcome.
Daniel Bryan and Kane?
Maybe we shouldn't mess with the original. Both had rather lousy Summerslams. Now Kane is missing due to the Wyatt Family's attack, and Bryan seems to be up against some insurmountable odds every week. A reconnection would help make things easier for both parties.
