New Jack is a very polarizing figure among fans. What is your opinion of him? Do you like him or dislike him? Please explain why.

No. He seems like a jackass that flies off the handle to easily.

I don't like his attitude, and I don't like what he does to people (as I believe a member here has experience with), but I find the man hugely entertaining, and insanely charismatic. I like New Jack the character, yes.

I flat out don't like him, neither as a wrestler nor as a person. He just comes off as an ass.

I despise that bastard. Him and JBL are the only two guys in the buisness that I just don't respect, even as human beings. If half of the shit that was written about those guys is true, than that's too much.

I'm ambivalent, but lean more toward "like" (rather than "dislike").
I dislike New Jack because of the physical harm he's caused those (undeserving) wrestlers who've worked with him. I generally dislike seeing people get mutilated, and although its consensual when New Jack blades someone, New Jack pushes things by virtue of the dangerous 'tools' he uses (i.e. forks and sickles). Just look at his forehead: if you can't trust him to take care of himself, how can you trust him to take care of another wrestler?
Here's why I like New Jack:
He's charismatic, and is one of wrestling's all-time best promo men (only Raven and Jake Roberts are better, in my opinion). Plus, he's hella funny.
He has a mystique about him, because you never can be sure what he's going to do next (Ever hear of the Sprite incident?).
He has respect for the business. I can't say that I blame New Jack for beating the living crap out of Gypsy Joe - a 70-something year old man who thought he could get away with no-selling an entire match against New Jack, and wrestling ultra stiff.
He CAN put on a decent match. Again, I'll cite his bout against Gypsy Joe. New Jack did a good job selling for Gypsy Joe, and pulled off his offense in such a way that it was enjoyable to watch. You can rightfully criticize New Jack for having no wrestling skills outside of those which could be considered 'brawling,' but you'd be a hypocrite to criticize him for that and mark out for someone like JBL or Steve Austin (post-neck injury).

I'll listen to the guy give an interview, but I'd rather turn my head when he's actually in the ring doing whatever he does.

I stopped liking him in the ring a while ago. I also personally don't like the man after he took some liberties on me in a match.
When he was in ECW, he was great for what he was. Violence for violence sake. Now, however, the buisness has past him by and he refuses to accept that.

I'm ashamed to know that I breathe the same air as him. I'm sure you can guess how I voted.

Why I fear him? When Mike Awesome, a guy twice my size and problably twice my strenght was afraid of New Jack when they wrestler.
Mike Awesome. The same dude that went to FMW and did deathmatches.
So when you prefer in a exploding barbwire than New Jack, I say the man is pretty scary.

I don't like him because he's wilfully cruel towards people for no other reason than he finds it funny.

I can't say I turn off the TV when he comes on, but I am not a fan, I think the way he acts hurts the integrity of the sport

I bought his DVD so I guess that means I'm a fan, even though it sucked.
