I've been wanting to go back and watch the WWF from 93 when RAW started. I'm about to start watching the RAW's from that year, but the WWF also had Superstars of Wrestling. If I don't watch those, how much will I be missing out? Do you recommend I watch them also?

I recommend you watch as little 1993 as possible. And 94...and maybe about the first half of 95.

There was also Wrestling Challenge, Mania, and All American Wrestling. Mania and AAW were basically recap shows, but they did have an exclusive match pretty much every week. There were a few key moments to happen on Challenge and Superstars, such as Doink attacking Crush with the arm and Bam Bam cutting Tatanka's hair, plus some pretty good matches such as the Perfect/Doink series. But you're really not missing much if you don't seek them out. 98% jobber squashes.

I'd watch Superstars, especially when it comes to King of the Ring season.

LOL.
The first thing i was thinking was the best thing about 1993 is that it's near 1992.

Even though it wasn't the greatest year I fondly look back at 1993 as it's when I started watching both WCW and WWF regularly along with getting all the pay per views.
Also good memories were getting the outdated Hasbro figures of guys who hadn't been with the company for 6 months to a year like Berzerker, Sid, Warlord, Anvil, Tito, Shango, Flair, Skinner, Repo etc...

'93 was great until Wrestlemania. Watch and have fun with that.
.....then JR changed the vibe, Gorilla retired (moreorless), Vince became the go-to PPV voice, Mean Gene faded as Pettengill's role grew and Lawler got more involved, and it slid for me. The Manhattan Center RAW era was fun, but that faded as they began taping in other (and historically smaller) arenas.
Heenan leaving in December was the official last nail in the ol' WWF coffin for me.

I recommend watching every second of 1993 that you can get your hands on. All-American, WWF on TSN, Raw, Superstars, and all the rest. By far the best year in wrestling history.

Heenan leaving in December was the official last nail in the ol' WWF coffin for me. I was basically in the same boat back then. I hung on until about King of the Ring 1994 and as a 9 year old I was (still am) a huge Bret Hart fan, but I couldn't justify continuing to watch just for Bret, basically. A huge reason I started watching WCW a few years later instead of WWF was because I got to hear Mean Gene and the Brain again. No, it wasn't the same as Hulkamania-era WWF, but I preferred the presentation they gave over how WWF usually presented their shows. JR's a funny case; in a way I really wish he had never left WCW, since he suited the vibe of Crockett/NWA/WCW's best eras, but I could never really get into his WWF work, regardless of how legendary it made him.

If I could get access to all of the WWF programming from 1993 in return for never watching any other wrestling for the rest of my life, I would make the trade in a heartbeat.

The year I started watching and have no problems with it. They built stars(Kid,HBK,Razor) and had decent matches and feuds.

Was never a wrestling fan until 1995...and it was old 1993 Pay Per Views that got me into wrestling (Survivor Series 93, Summerslam 93, 1st King of the Ring, ect). I feel 1993 is damned by wrestling fans a little too much. If there was any year that I'd scream to stay away from it'd be late 95 to 96. Those were horrible times to be a wrestling fan.

Hogan winning the title at Wrestlemania just killed any enthusiasm for me.

I disagree, I think around Summerslam 95 was when WWF started turning the corner, at least seeing signs of it. Diesel heel turn helped also.

1993 wasn't all that bad. I would say it's superior to all of 1994, 1995, and much of 1996.
1993 still had some Hogan, Flair was around for a little while as well. Heenan was around pretty much all year. Mr. Perfect was still wrestling and putting on good matches. Ted Dibiase was around for about 1/2 the year. You had a rising star in Razor Ramon who had an interesting feud with the 123 Kid. The Steiners were mega over. Yokozuna was a rising monster heel. Bret Hart putting on quality matches. Owen Hart finally getting his chance to shine later in the year. Jerry Lawler was still relatively new to the fed.
These were not the Furnas/Lafon, King Mabel days just yet

I loved 1993. So underrated.
You had Bret, Razor, Evil Doink, Tatanka, Lawler, Perfect, 123 Kid, Undertaker, Steiner Brothers, Yoko, Bam Bam, Shawn, IRS, Owen, etc. Some of my favourite wrestlers ever.
The PPVs were decent to good. WMIX is the most underrated WrestleMania ever. Great atmosphere, great moments, and only one bad match; everything else was either average or really good. KOTR'93 was probably the best KOTR ever with Bret having three great matches.
Anyway, not saying it was amazing or anything, but I personally love it.
