Other at 30 and a decent looking game tonight so I thought I'd get the new one going.

Maurice Jones-Drew (foot) remained out of practice Thursday, and is "up in the air" for Week 3.

"Several league sources" tell the Cleveland Plain Dealer the Browns initiated the trade that sent Trent Richardson to Indianapolis.

I don't blame them for doing so.
They need everything, they can't protect Weeden, and he's not playing well enough to be a franchise QB. They have no weapons and their line is terrible. The only they had was Richardson, and he had a less-than-stellar first season. They were smart enough to get rid of him while he was still worth something.

If the Eagles lose tonight, that will be their 8th straight home loss, which would tie for the longest streak since 1936-37.

The Browns are like the Jets, their defense is gonna force them to win four or five games.

I have a feeling my boy Alex Smith is gonna have a killer game tonight. Against the Eagles secondary......probably. Good news for Philly is that CB Bradley Fletcher, who missed the SD game last week due to a concussion, is back in the lineup.

Well by that logic, they should be trading whatever top 5 pick they get this season and trade for multiple picks. You can't get anywhere as a franchise by trading a #3 pick after one season, especially if it's a silly reason like not fitting your scheme. Just because he didn't break rookie records or anything, doesn't mean he's terrible or on his way to being a bust. It'd be like the Colts trading Andrew Luck, because he threw a lot of INTs in his rookie year. Sure, Richardson's YPC were not very good, but that's what happens when you run so much, defenses expect it and make efforts to stop him. Just because you need help in more than one area, doesn't mean you should trade away the one of the very few good players you have on your team after only one season just to get an extra pick, especially one that may end up being in the 20s. You build around him via good picks and good free agent signings.

You build around him via good picks and good free agent signings. You can't compare a quarterback's trade value with a runningback. You can go dumpster diving and find a squad of free-agents who will give you the kind of production Richardson was giving the Browns. I defy you to do the same with even an average quarterback like Carson Palmer. It's not even close to being the same thing. And you should really take a look at the Colt's schedule if you think they're gonna have that high of a pick.

And the fans applaud Reid, just as I thought they would.
Philly gets a lot of shit for having harsh fans, but they're not totally heartless.
