I've been watching the Streak DVD set and on both the Batista and REdgeR matches, the belt looks...duller, yet better; slightly older, kinda like the old WCW title. And then I see it now on people like Del Rio and Ziggler and it looks brighter but sorta smaller. The title that was handed to Ziggler looks a lot better than the one he won from ADR.  |

It's been getting a lot smaller (at least as far as I can tell) since 2008 when Punk won it.

They changed it in 2008 when Cena had it and made it smaller. I remember this specifically because people were freaking out that he was going to turn it into yet another spinner, which Cena himself reassured everyone that he wouldn't.

It looks like the Hulk Hogan ADR memorial belt. If only we could get ADR away from it long enough for it to attempt to build credibility again.

Everything you ever wanted to know about the Big Gold Belt designs. Small nitpick, but after Flair wore the replica, he was eventually just given a WWF tag belt to wear and it was censored on TV. This is most clearly seen at Survivor Series 91, where the face of the belt is censored but the WWF logo is clear on the straps, which fall out of the censor box and are seen. T |
