The promotion for this season has been so barebones, to the point that we don’t even have proper character posters (just the ones from Season 5 have been used). Apparently, the actual character posters have spoilers, hence why no reveal. If you go to the Agents of Shield Facebook page each character has a video of moments from Season 1-6 along with character artwork from this season and a quote. Coulson, Daisy, May, Fitz, Simmons, Mack, Yo-Yo and Deke. Which is just from the S7 poster, and some have noticed the artist traced over old promo pics to create the images for the team.

I’m digging it so far. It’s going to be a definite fan service season for sure.

As far as that possible spoiler, all of the showrunners are being very secretive but saying that Agents isn’t done with the MCU just yet...But they won’t say more than that they’re definitely going to run into something before it’s all over. Also, the show did give me one question... {Spoiler}The lady in red gave Malick what looks like a vial of super soldier serum to deliver. The Chronicoms were looking to kill him before he delivered it, stopping Hydra from forming and in turn stopping Shield from forming. Considering Erskine created the serum that created Cap and Red Skull, are we going to discover that there were attempts at creating Super Soldiers before them...just like in the comics? Will Erskine end up putting the finishing touches on the serum instead of creating it from scratch?

Well that explains my question about the vial. {Spoiler}That it’s a major ingredient in Erskine’s formula that he’ll use to create the Red Skull.

{Spoiler}The 1931 Koenig learning about robotics from Enoch was a fun twist. Next week, a certain Agent Carter character shows up.

Clark Gregg was talking about the rest of the season and how we have more surprises in store including possibly seeing some younger versions of characters... {Spoiler}{Spoiler}...and I assume they’ll find a way to give Grant Ward one last appearance...but my big money is on their supposed visit to the 80’s...young Tony Stark anyone?

That other dude has LOTS of links to Shield.

So I guess next week we’re going to find out what changing the timeline can cause.

One of the trailers shows a scene of {Spoiler}Sousa standing with Daisy and May in a setting that’s obviously not from next week’s episode, so I guess he’ll be sticking around.

Just a theory... {Spoiler}...they obviously can’t leave Sousa there...he’s supposed to die at the hands of Hydra to protect their infiltration. If they can’t leave him, he’s coming with them to the future.

The Chronicoms giving Malick the idea for Project Insight in the 70’s...here’s where the timeline really goes off the rails.

Great episode. Wasn't expecting the Project Insight twist. Definitely looking forward to seeing how the timeline further changes. Also, loved the Chastity McBryde reference (an appropriate one, considering SHIELD's first Insight-tied storyline featured fellow Elektra-associated agent John Garrett). I do have one pet peeve, though: {Spoiler}Why is Nathaniel Malick referring to Whitehall in the prison call. Considering he was jailed as a Nazi, wouldn't he still be Werner Reinhardt at this point? Wouldn't the name "Daniel Whitehall" have been part of the rebrand?

{Spoiler}{Spoiler}All the wacky time f***ery is gonna lead to the Agents being pushed into MCU 2023 for Endgame fun, isn't it? {Spoiler}Thats the prevalent rumor I’ve been hearing. The final season will be split into two halves. The Chronicoms story either ends at the end of the next episode or the one after with the Chronicoms supposedly winning and the Agents end up in an Earth ruled by them. That’s when the Endgame plot line of alternate timelines comes in and they’re forced to try and jump timelines and the end up in the MCU...just in time for Thanos to snap.
The second half deals with the fall out with the remaining agents trying to deal with the post-Snap world. The big rumor is that Kevin Feige gave them the green light to do what we’ve been wanting all along...use whatever Endgame footage from the big battle they need to let Ghost Rider bring a group of the characters to the big fight including Quake, Deathlok and Aero...but they’ve never said if any unpowered characters would fight.
I’ve already said I’ll be sad if this doesn’t come to pass because the immediate aftermath of the battle supposedly shows us that the MCU isn’t necessarily finished with our favorite agents...
