Then again, can one redeem themselves when they've done nothing wrong?

Sesame Street needs redeeming? And Fallon is something that adds positive? I'm so confused.

I mean, yeah, it's a great video. But Sesame Street does not need redeeming for making a one off sight gag that was really funny.

I love it too! Where were Bert and Ernie...were they out? (ducking)
The new Elmo is still surprisingly close to Clash's.

If you don't think Fallon can be awesome, check out his impression of Neil Young covering "Whip My Hair" or impression of Jim Morrison signing the theme from Reading Rainbow

Sesame will have a recurring segment for Cookie Monster this season, everything's A-OK in my book (no pun intended)

Man, the faster people accept the fact that Fallon is no longer the awkward, laughing doofus that he was on SNL, the faster we can move on.

He's still a poor man's Adam Sandler that could never be professional enough during a set to keep a straight face. Fallon should be thankful he wasn't born 20+ years sooner. He would never make it with stars such as Johnny Carson, Jerry Lewis, Jonathan Winters and more. Whenever I hear any, and I mean ANY, jokes from him they always fall flat. I'm left saying to myself "um, OK...not sure what to make of that." There were so many good comedians and entertainers years prior but now not so much and he gets away with not being so great because of lack of competition. Come on, when the majority of "stars" on dancing with the stars are B- at (my generous) best, a subpar entertainer can become very popular and very rich nowadays and it sure does kill me to see it.

And I must say...INCREDIBLE! Then I watched him do Neil Young singing the Fresh Prince theme....mind? Blown.

Ah yes Adam Sandler, the paragon of great comedies over the last few years.

Likewise, I'm not sure that if performers like Carson, Lewis, or Winters got their starts in today's era that they would be as successful as they were back in their time as Fallon has been today in his.
