12yr old Stephanie McMahon back in the day told him to start using it. Was that 20 years ago when Scott Armstrong first got hired?

I thought the time he was ECW champ was when he had just come back from 'boxing training'. I think the mayweather match was built on show claiming to be a legit boxer after he had already started knocking wrestlers out in ECW. Maybe, but I don't think the boxing training was until after his run in ECW. In ECW, he was using various cobra clutch variations as a finisher. One would be a submission where he lifting the opponent and shook them back and forth. Another one led to a slam or throw of the opponent. I think the 'boxing training' stories came when he was gone from WWE and he was losing a lot of weight.

Correct me if I'm wrong but, isn't Sheamus the only person to kick out of it so far? Cena also kicked out, albeit with 5 minutes between the punch and the pin.

My only problem with the Knockout Punch is that it really is just a punch to the jaw. I like finishers that you can hit out of nowhere, but it kinda gets to the point where he could just punch his opponent right when the bell rings since there's no setup at all for it. The rationale can be Show's trying to wear the opponent down first. If he starts throwing the punch at the start of the match, its easier to avoid. Just like Shawn Michaels wouldn't just hit Sweet Chin Music when the bell rang.
