We had a 4-way tie in the last poll but with two teams from each larger team. So, two-coin flips were done to determine the two teams from each larger team that would be leaving the match. And, here's how that went down.
Davey Boy Smith enters the fray attacking Jim Neidhart. But, Neidhart is able to fight back. They both exchange blows for a while, until Smith gets the upperhand. He pulls Neidhart into his corner and tags in The Dynamite Kid. They double team him, and then Dynamite works over The Anvil with some technical offense. After a while, he has Neidhart locked in a three-quarter facelock. Neidhart appears to be fading, but he keeps struggling to push Dynamite into the heels' corner. Dynamite tries to push him back, but Neidhart is too powerful. He manages to lift Dynamite up and slams him into the corner. Then, he tags in Smash, who starts working Dynamite over. After a little smashing offense, he tags in Ax, beginning a series of quick tags to weaken Dynamite. Even though the heels are beating the holy hell out of him, Dynamite is tough enough to take it. Eventually, he's being double teamed by the Islanders, the freshest team in the match, having not wrestled much in it. They work him over well, but Dynamite is able to take their offense. After another failed pin from Tama, he tags in Haku and holds Dynamite for a savate kick. However, Dynamite manages to move out of the way; and Haku ends up accidentally taking out his partner. Tama goes down. Haku immediately checks on him. But, this allows Dynamite to rush over and tag in Tito Santana. He rushes in and attacks Haku. They fight furiously, spilling over to the outside. The fighting continues with Santana getting the upperhand. However, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan tries to interject on his client's behalf; but Santana catches him. Unfortunately for Santana, this allows Haku to regain some momentum. He attacks Santana from behind and throws him into the guardrail. As he chokes him on the guardrail, the ref keeps on counting. As he gets closer to 10, Heenan warns Haku to get back into the ring. He tries to, but Davey Boy Smith rushes into the ring, runs over to the ropes, and knocks Haku down. He's unable to get back into the ring in time and is counted out. However, Santana is also counted out. So, the Bulldogs have to face The Hart Foundation and Demolition alone.
