Jordan made a joke about Ali's Parkinsons and we're up in arms about him saying Space Jam sucked?

Jordan made a joke about Ali's Parkinsons and we're up in arms about him saying Space Jam sucked? Ali called his baseball career a bigger tragedy than his father getting killed. Making fun of disabilities is nothing new, heck Albert Einstein made fun of Stephen Hawking's Lou Gherig's disease.

I actually thought Ali looked better than I thought he was going to look.

That opening verse by Ali was great. Peele got that talking pattern of Ali's old promos down cold there.

It is a silly, goofy, dumb movie, and any ERB with Jordan should involve making fun of Space Jam, just out of principle. And I actually was a huge fan of the movie as a kid. Although it should have been more creatively done (and I'd swap the order so Jordan ended with the 3-peat line).

I get why it's included, it just isn't the right kind of diss to end a rap battle with. I think it should have been at the start of Ali's third verse. Taking a potshot at a movie someone has been in regardless of what the general consensus is makes it feel a little awkward. I loved the battle, I just think a few parts should have been shuffled.

This week's ERB dropped a little late, but had to go with a Christmas theme.
Very different, rather than a normal battle, we get A Christmas Carol, in rap form. Trump probably has to win by default, because he actually addressed Scrooge for his entire rap, but I liked the changing beats in Scrooge's more.

Kind of wish they would have just stuck with Trump for an actual Rap Battle, but this was okay. Trump was weak, but Kanye and Scrooge were good. J.P. Morgan and Death/Christmas Future were awesome.

I liked the start and thought the JP/Scrooge bit was all it was gonna be and thus a bit weak but damn did I love it by the end

I liked it more on subsequent watches, especially after I realized what they were doing. The part where Death enters makes me laugh every time.

I can't believe they wasted Donald Trump on THIS.

So, ERB comes back on May 5th. They really took a hell of a break, but they did tease that the following would be involved in season 3.5 Weird Al is interesting because he could either be a guest rapper, or be a character one of them plays, or both.

Wonder who people requested to be Walter White's opponent? Easy choice would be Tony "Scarface" Montana.

Love Breaking Bad but Rick Grimes won this, better both in flow and lyrics.

Never seen either of those shows (yes, really) so I don't get any of the references.
Good that ERB is back with new episodes, though.

HOnestly, I've only seen a little bit of Breaking Bad and none of Walking Dead, so most of the references didn't click. But, just based on the rhymes, it was still pretty good. I'd give it to Grimes too.

Seemed to have more references to Breaking Bad than Walking Dead, honestly (though the last few lyrics and the ending certainly fixed that well enough).
...seriously, a Walking Dead ERB without even a mention of Daryl? Or Michonne? Or DARYL?! Hrm.
