Oh man the half-season is over already. I knew Smosh and Rhett & Link were part of this set of releases, so I was expecting 2 more raps instead of 1.
I actually don't mind the shortness (or one-sided nature) of this one, because (1) the artists easily won, and (b) the last time Rhett & Link did a rap they got pretty shorted of material themselves - and that was still one of my favorite ERB's (Wrights bros. vs. Mario bros.) so more R&L was just great.
Artists FTW.

This one ended way too suddenly. I felt like it was just beginning to get good when they stopped it. Another verse each would have been much better.

I have noticed when they do a rap battle with someone from long ago against someone from this century that historical figure always does better.

I have noticed when they do a rap battle with someone from long ago against someone from this century that historical figure always does better. I think King took out Poe. But the real issue I think is the modern people are so well known that you are kind of beholden to stick close tot he source. The older guys and people out of the spotlight (like King) can go a little more off path.

I like the modern characters because I love seeing Peter, Lloyd and/or the guest performers' doing impressions.
