...the main storyline?
Seriously, you'd think Punk would at least try to maybe also try to help Daniel Bryan or, heck, anybody. Apparently, the Punk and Heyman thing is so glued in that neither of them (and Ryback at the moment) is allowed to enter in it or anyone can get out (except Axel due to, well...title), and it's more of an out of universe feud compared to the main feud of this whole thing.
So yeah, it sticks out like a sore thumb, doesn't it?

Punk is a selfish dude whom enjoys yelling at you, and nailing your favorite Divas.

The fiery intensity with which the Heyman/Ryback/Punk love triangle burns is too hot to bother interfering in the Corporation angle. When you're blinded by lust, you lose sight of the bigger picture.

Punk is not a good guy even if he is playing a face.

WWE have never really been too good at connecting storylines.

Hunter hates Paul Heyman and put him in situations that are not beneficial to him. Punk does what's best for Punk. No need of fighting a battle that does not affect you. Once Trips pisses off Punk then he will fight the power that be.

Punk and Heyman are doing what's best for business. Why interfere with it?

there isn't much need for it to connect outside of a "i'll take care of your problem if you take care of mine." sort of deal

Punk is not a good guy even if he is playing a face. Good guy Phil always gets you fresh pepsi if he drank some.

That's the main reason I want this storyline to end. Both face Punk and heel Punk cut scathing promos against the corporate structure of WWE, yet when it's getting worse than ever, he has nothing to say? This is like Batman ignoring crime in Gotham City. It makes NO sense.

But why? It's bad enough that Big Show is involved. Can't we just let Bryan have this one?

But why? It's bad enough that Big Show is involved. Can't we just let Bryan have this one? Because it's stupid to have an angle that engulfs the whole company and leave out a major player. DDP, Lex Luger, Roddy Piper, the Steiners, and The Giant feuded with the nWo at the same time, yet took nothing away from Sting. On top of that, every week Bryan was getting beat down the fans were chanting for CM Punk. The fans want the Bryan/Punk alliance. Bryan's thunder would only be stolen if he wasn't over enough or charismatic enough, but he is. I love Bryan, and I'm thrilled that he's finally getting a main event role. That said, I also love Punk and he'd add a hell of a lot more excitement to this angle than the cast of Saturday Morning Slam that Bryan's been teaming with.

Punk is not a good guy even if he is playing a face. Actually, yeah. Punk is like Austin in that regard. Punk isn't a nice guy, nor was Austin. He only cares about his own fight.

Well, is Triple H still trying to f*** Heyman over? Or was that just a one night thing? Because it could complicate other storylines as well. Like Punk somehow aligning with The Authority, Bryan aligning with Heyman, or Punk and Heyman unifying to fight The Authority.

I like to think that Punk genuinely has no idea that "The Authority" is ruling everything and that after the Heyman feud, look around and say "What the hell did I miss?"

I think Punk's character is basically a mercenary who only cares about himself. And since he basically got everything he wanted (aside from the ice cream bars) after his "Pipebomb" promo, he doesn't care about what the corporate assholes do to f*** with anyone else.

Yeah, I like how HHH has been kind of feeding Heyman to Punk to keep him distracted. You'd think heel would help heel, but he's screwed Paul over a few times in all this.
I think at one point HHH will do something to piss Punk off and he'll cut a promo bascially saying "I wasn't gonna get involved because Bryan had things under control, but since you pissed me off..." etc
