It seems like he only stayed in the crypt, but the upper floors were fully furnished. With the fact that it's built on a crypt, it's probably a steal on the market. No neighbors, that's a plus. The crypt itself is a selling point on its own. That thing had a full bar, a complete replica of the bus stop from Forest Gump and everything! Of course you'd have to contend with the Grim Reaper and the Cryptkeeper's other buddies stopping by every once in awhile, but hey... You might meet Arnold Schwarzenegger. That's cool, right?

I assumed it was always his, and no one wanted to deal with the mansion knowing what was inside or because it was private property.
Kind of like the Spencer Mansion.

I always thought he lived there and just went down into the Crypt to tell his stories.

Yah, I did. But that sumabitch charged $1500 a month for rent. And I could only use my room, the bathroom, and the kitchen. Everything else was off limits. Greedy little twit.

Yeah, but that place has a bunch of dogs around the property, it's near the woods, the chance of bears running around... Not to mention the decor is just dreadful. I'm like "did someone die here?" I always thought he lived there and just went down into the Crypt to tell his stories. So, we're to assume he lives a normal life, breakfast in the morning, light exercise in the afternoon, check on his beloved E.C Ghoulies(the top basketball team in the underworld), tend to his graveyard, watch reruns of The Amanda Show, maybe work on his puns and THEN he goes down there JUST to tell stories?! I don't know... Seems a bit unbelievable to me.

They never showed up in any episodes, but I heard Cain and Able would stop by a lot too. I mean, they live just down the street in the house of mysteries and the house of secrets.

Did The Cryptkeeper have to pay bills?
I mean, I imagine he was making some pretty decent cash from the show, and likeness rights from the comic, but...was that all just cash he would use for his various props & costumes?

I don't know... Seems a bit unbelievable to me. He went skiing and to the beach at some point. He went on vacation to England and had a replica Crypt there, and he even did job openings when he got back. Did The Cryptkeeper have to pay bills? I mean, I imagine he was making some pretty decent cash from the show, and likeness rights from the comic, but...was that all just cash he would use for his various props & costumes? In the episode Revenge Is The Nuts, he admits to doing several different jobs due to all the Hack-spenses he has to pay, not to mention he owes a lot of money to the DIE-R.S.

So did he have a bathroom in there? I mean, I think I've seen him eat once on the show once. So he must go to the bathroom at some point.
