if he is then he's going to be the iceberg that t.n.a. management just kept reversing away from to see how many times it takes the ship to run into before the damned thing sinks.
even if spike are footing a chunk of the bill for him, he is not the solution to their problems

Kinda weird that WWE would lowball him like that. I would think that they would have thrown him absurd amounts of money to get him back in time for Wrestlemania 30.

I suppose the biggest problem is that if you give Hogan a million dollars then the Ultimate Warrior is going to want a million dollars. WWE probably doesn't want that becoming the new normal at WrestleMania time for old legends.

Why does TNA want him??? The ratings are LOWER since he's arrived, and when he makes other TV appearances, he makes no effort to promote the brand

I'm a Hogan fan and even I don't find this news encouraging.

I wouldn't be shocked if he came back. WWE won't put up with his bullshit and pay him big money like he wants them to. TNA has got in their head that need Hogan to get them to the Promise Land. Guess they got to fire 5 more people to support the Orange Menace.

Not to mention the "Thirty Years of WrestleMania" theme for WWE 2K14 and the lower RAW ratings as of late. Says a lot about his real net worth that, even in light of all that, they won't give him a fraction what they're giving Rock and Brock.

I suppose, thinking about it, that I'm not that surprised. If the news that Hogan adds a lot of value to the promotion is true and the Carter family really do want to sell up then it's kind of a no-brainer to bring him back into the fold.

Sounds to me like he's hoping to use the offer from TNA as a way to get more money and a bigger role than he would otherwise get from the WWE. Like Flair, I suspect he still feels he should be on TV regularly rather than an ambassador, but given enough time off to work on his own projects of course, while the WWE have no interest in using him in anything more than the role Bret Hart currently plays.

As soon as the Impact where I left went off the air, my phone was ringing off the hook with Vince and Triple H and Stephanie all begging the Hulkster to come back, brother. They wanted to take WWE back to the top, man, and needed Hulkamania to run wild, dude. And it was a good offer, Jack. It was a real good offer, Hulk Hogan on top one last time, but it was a good offer for someone else, brother. Wrestlemania can't touch the lineage of Bound For Glory! TNA's ready, brother.
