You know, I don't get why you're all missing the big point here. Everyone's too busy crying and gnashing teeth to note the obvious. I mean, if this is true, if Hulk's making less than 200K for the year, HOLY CRAP! Remember, this is a guy that since the 80s was not paid anything less than 2 to 3 million, MINIMUM! His WCW contract honestly puts others to shame, toppling off at around 12 million. Even in his later WWE run, and apparently his arrival in TNA, it was still in the 7 digits. Now, the dude has lost about 85% of his worth in the span of 2 years, not to mention his apparent standing in WWE. I reiterate. HO-LY CRAP! No - I get it and that is kind of interesting, but in all honesty I feel that price tag is still no proportional to what he brings to the company both in the 'creative' sense and promotionally. A guy like Hogan ONLY getting 200K is pretty staggering when you think about his whole career, but its also fairly representative of his value to today's wrestling marketplace. Not only that, but it truly shows how OVERpaid he was less than 2 years ago.

If it means running the #DixieTrain off the tracks and TV then, by all means, hurry back Hulk.

Could you guys just try to go on without him a little while? Just to see if what you have works? TNA? Are you there...? Hello......screw it, they still aren't listening.

John Cena back 4 months early.
Hulk Hogan quits TNA and is back in 2 weeks.
Wrestling is trying to push me out the door.

I honestly want to know why TNA thinks Hogan has anything to offer.
The man is 60 years old, has done everything one can do in the business, and is in a company that isn't going to attract the casual crowd.
Whatever...if they want to continue to dig their grave, go for it.

Now, the dude has lost about 85% of his worth in the span of 2 years, not to mention his apparent standing in WWE. I reiterate. HO-LY CRAP! As funny as this might sound, the market is suffering from a Hulk Hogan oversaturation. He has made himself available consistently enough that he's not seen as anything special, which takes away his value. Since his exposure increased gradually from his glory days up until today - which is to be expected as there is no way he can reduce the amount of times people have seen him, it's kind of expected that he would go down a bit. Still pretty "Whoa" though. Then again, I'm not sure about that number. Well, not your math per se, but the data. Your initial assumption was based on assuming that Lesnar was paid an equal amount of money per appearance, but the article in the OP mentions "matches." I think it's not too far fetched to assume that Lesnar is paid less for appearing on a raw than he is for actually wrestling. So based on that newz, Hogan's salary is probably around the 300-400 zone, maybe a bit more. Which to be fair is still kind of weird to think about considering what he used to get paid.

I knew WWE was going to lowball Hulk, but I didn't think the figures would be that far off.

As I said, Bound For Glory ends with Bully Ray, Dixie Carter, and Hulk Hogan standing tall in unison

Crazy... I'd mark for a WWE appearance but him staying in TNA makes me not want to watch it anymore.

I'm so sad I won't get to see Hulk back in the big leagues. I'll just pretend he's retired until he comes back home to WWE.

As I said, Bound For Glory ends with Bully Ray, Dixie Carter, and Hulk Hogan standing tall in unison Hulk is Triple H, Dixie is Steph, Bully is Orton, Abyss is Big Show, AJ Styles is D-Bry, and Garett, Knux and some random guy are The Shield. Also Angle will be Cena, and James Storm and Gunner are somehow the Rhodes family.

Speaking as someone from the UK who can't afford Sky Sports (meaning we have to pay monthly to watch any WWE over here) I got into TNA as the only free-to-watch Wrestling show.
And a lot about it was/is good in terms of talent. But the last few months have worn me down into barely bothering, and if Hulks's back I may give up on it for a long stretch.
So in short I'd chose nothing over feeling 'ugh, not again...'.

I hope he re-emerges by coming down the ramp with Dixie still clutching at his leg all the way.
"ALRIGHT! Alright, dammit, I'll stay! Now let go!"
