So Cena is pretty much forever associated with the jorts right now, with seemingly the most of us against him ever changing back to trunks or tights. Is there anybody else active right now where their look is too defined or too iconic to mess with? I feel like though there's been a lot of guys on the roster for a decent amount of time, there aren't too many guys that have had either A. unique enough looks or B. enough camera time to really stand out.
Ignoring the old guard like Goldust, Undertaker, Triple H, Kane, and Mark Henry, these are all I could really come up with:
Sheamus - Pale skin plus that dye-accented gingerness does the trick, even though personally I think he looks best with green on his gear.
Santino - Much as I'd like to see him try a more serious or at least less squashable version of his gimmick, he's rocked that blue singlet in a world of trunks for years now, while still being pretty omnipresent.
R-Truth - Since Cryme Tyme broke up and JTG got even more jobbery, still rocking the airbrushed jeans. Also has the seniority to back it up, to the point that I could've put him in old guard if I wanted to.
Borderline examples:
Christian - He's been wearing pretty much the exact same thing since he returned in 2009 and variations on that same thing since 2003 or 2004, but at the same time it doesn't stand out -that- much, so I dunno.
Punk - I doubt he ever leaves the Chicago flag motif behind, even though he inexplicably switched back to plain kickpads this year when he looked a lot less indy and a lot more legit with the matching kickpad covers.
Kofi - He's had a good number of designs over the years but still nothing that's really stood out except for his occasional superhero tribute gear combos. That and if he's going to wear tights from now on he really needs contrasting boot colors.
Sandow - If they didn't seem intent on dialing back his gear like they do to everyone that's a heel MiTB holder, the variations of purple and pink and lavender plus the robe would've gotten there I think.
Ryback - Still needs more time to really become iconic, but at least he's started going in a different direction with his airbrushing than RVD, even with the inane "BIG GUY BIG TRAPS" and such on the straps.
