A little guy in furry boots with a....hard head? It makes zero sense to me. Could someone help out?

You can't really get Jimmy Jacobs...he's Jimmy Jacobs. Plus he's 1/2 of the match of the year.

Ok, you're talking about old school Jimmy. Allow me:
-Back in the day, Jimmy's gimmick was that he was the "Barbaric Berzerker"; basically a miniature version of what Bruiser Brody's and the Berzerker's lovechild would look like.
The idea is that he'd have the Berzerker's fuzzy boots, yell "HUSS!" like both of them, and fight like a six-foot-five, three hundred pound man...despite being about five-five, and 170 pounds. He was mostly a comedy character and underdog babyface.
-Today, Jimmy's dropped the HUSS, and instead portrays an annoying emo boy, which he does exceedingly well (proving the concept of "be yourself with the volume turned up" does work), plus he's now a great worker, better than he's ever been. He's mostly heel in various promotions these days, but he still has that underdog quality.

Nothing beats Jimmy tossing the IWA:MS belt in the trash though. That was a good day.

I didn't know if he was supposed to be taken seriously or not, considering he was in a serious feud with Alex Shelley.

Lawl. He sounds exactly like that one emo jackass whose name I can't remember. This is leaps and bounds better than 'Lil Berserker.

Seriously watch a recent ROH show where Jimmy comes out to The Ballad of Lacey, he gets one of the bigger responses of the night.

I love Jimmy Jacobs, the man is talented, can be a comedy charactor or a psycho heel. The powerbomb into the audience at ROH: In Your Face he took from BJ Whitmer was sick!

I prefer Berzerker over emo but he's still the goods no matter what.
