{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}Well, he is the chief HYDRA mook. I can totally buy that Pierce made sure he knew which buttons to press to get the plan working in case something like what happened happened. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler} Yeah, like I said it was a minor complaint that I could overlook... but it seemed a little out of character... my question is if he will come back down the line as Crossbones... also if Agent 13 / Sharon will be revealed as Peggy's Neice...(I think that's the new continuity instead of daughter) or if they'll just drop the relation all together. Also there must be some kinda rule that Captain America movies have to have him falling into the water in the final act {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}He'll come back down the line as Crossbones. If not why show him being loaded into the van at the end?
They'll reveal Sharon as Peggy's niece in either the 3rd movie, or on Agents of SHIELD. She'll probably pop up in a few episodes next season. Also remember the first time we see her she tells Cap she was on the phone with her aunt.

My minor complaint is {Spoiler}{Spoiler}how the hell did Hydra miss Fury's other retinal scan if they deleted everything else about him? Oh and {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}Not to mention having him...erm... me... um... him leaping out of a plane sans parachute. Like all badasses do. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}that should have at least broken his legs since falling a few stories seemed to hurt him.

Like all badasses do. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}that should have at least broken his legs since falling a few stories seemed to hurt him. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Not necessarily. When he jumps into the water at the beginning of the movie, he narrowed himself so he dived straight into the water, like a diver would.
When he does the second jump (out of the Triskelion), he lands on his vibranium shield. vibranium absorbs kinetic energy, hence why when Peggy shoots the shield in the first movie, the bullets fall straight down instead of ricocheting. Cop out, I know, but it is somewhat consistent; I imagine Mjolnir swung at full force can do a helluva lot more damage than a ten story fall can.

Do we really need to spoiler everything in a thread for the movie 10 days after it came out? Clicking every spoiler tag is frustrating.

Do we really need to spoiler everything in a thread for the movie 10 days after it came out? Clicking every spoiler tag is frustrating. I already said this, but I'll say it again: Somebody might just be coming in here looking for opinions. It IS still in theaters, after all. It's not like a little consideration for them is asking a lot, yeah? I say once the movie's theatrical run has ended, then spoilers are fair game, but that's just me.

It's pretty much getting near universal praise, I don't see how anyone could ask for more opinions. Most movies at this point just include *SPOILERS* in the movie thread so it doesn't become a conjoined mess like it is now.

All spoilers are fair game.
You know the deal by now if you're coming in the thread.

Also, don't if it was mentioned, but Cap has held onto the top spot again this weekend, despite Rio 2 winning out on Friday. So that's cool.

Captain America beat up an irritating Blue Macaw ... hurray!! God damn that old Orange advert still haunts me from the first Rio film, it felt like it was never going to stop being used.

A part of my soul died when box office predictions were saying Rio 2 was going to oust Winter Soldier from the #1 spot. Thank the lord it didn't!

Well, looking back at the Avengers now. SHIELD being in possession of Hydra tech and the Tessaract should have tipped us off.
