See that was my only quibble with his Avengers suit, them changing the cowl when it was great in the first Cap. Jazzed they're going back to that style. I liked it a lot in the first movie, but after having it changed to be more comic book suit like to go back to it irks me. Such a small gripe, but yeah. I just associate it with outdated 40's technology or something that we wouldn't use today.

Flaming Ultimate Universe. I hope Galactus eats the lot! I can agree it went off the rails, but I did dig the first few years of it.

I'd like to see them somehow use the Captain/USAgent black, white, and red outfit in one of the films. Dont know how they could use it (maybe a stealth outfit?)

Why anyone gives a shite about them. Because they are not very good movies. I guess you can go OMGZ ROFLZZZ ALL DA AVENGERS AND DA GREEN GUY IS ON DA SAME SCREEN but meh so what, that Avengers movie was absolutely garbage. Unless you read comics or grew up watching Super Hero stuff on TV, chances are you probably won't like them. Some just don't understand the concept of it. I like the fact that Marvel is establishing almost a comic book line using film now, it's great because at times they capture what the reader reads on-screen. Then there is the SFX crowd that likes the graphics and action, and in my case there is a good sense of story in these films. Hell "Thor" was great IMO because it was an unorthodox super hero film. It had a Shakesperian feel to it and wasn't some generic wham blam action flick. I would like to know though your reasoning for disliking them out of curiosity. The Dark Knight, Batman 89 and Superman 78 are three of my favourite films of all time so I 'get' them, these are just not very good, END OF.

Well, you seem pretty set in your opinion, so there's really no point in continuing this discussion, then. I must find the trailer for this, as I'm super stoked. LOVED the first Cap movie.

No, sir, you just don't like them. No problem with that, but on a purely critical level the evidence doesn't support your opinion.

What a shitty film and that won best picture.

I still have high hopes for the film, but the trailer didn't do anything for me. It just looked like a collection of cool footage without much semblance of what the story's really going to be. The last time I felt like that about a trailer was for "Star Trek" Into Darkness, and I didn't care for that film, so it's a slight worry. I think it's just the way trailers are cut these days. Like I said, still looking forward to the film, everything else I've seen or heard about it seems positive.

It looks really amazing as the scope seems to be much bigger and putting a lot of emphasis on Nick Fury's questionable methods regarding the usage of intimidation and control. My only gripe and it's really not a gripe per se, however, I just hope the after credits scene more or less is actually a preview of what's to come in Age of Ultron.
