Saw it on Friday. It was really good enjoyed the whole thing all the way through along with all the small nods to other things. The Winter Soldier was excellent as the villain. I look forward to GotG and Avengers 2.

I'm off tonight to see it, wanted to go yesterday but my towns only Cinema (a shithole with 2 screens and one showing per day) only had a 3d showing yesterday (I refuse to go and see something converted to 3d in post, plus I have depth perception issues when they go for the "pop out" of the screen effect which causes everything to go blurry)
I try to avoid hype around films as much as I can but I did see some footage of The Falcon on TV and it looked so good.

I can confidently say this is easily one of the best films of the year. In response to your spoiler Rocking Chimes: {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler} Couldn't Agents of SHIELD be Coulson's resistance group, weeding out HYDRA?? {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}I definitely think it could lead that way. I'm curious to see how it deals with the fallout for those who haven't been able to watch Winter Soldier when those new episodes air. {Spoiler}The pessimist in me half-expects the death of the show coming out of this, but at this point I think the show has done enough to get a renewal.

It angers me this isn't out yet in America.. Something weird about a movie starring an American patriot superhero not being released in the United States first.

If it makes you feel better, we're not getting the WWE Network here in the UK until later this year or early next year (I wish they'd be more specific).

Incredible film, I really like most of the Marvel movies and I loved Avengers, this might just trump them all.
The story has depth (as do the characters), twists and turns but it makes sense and the action is excellent, light years ahead of the first Cap film, this has put him on par with the other main Avengers now in my book...he felt a little lacking previously.

Just got back, really enjoyed it. Not as good as Iron Man 3, but still one of the better Marvel Movies (probably third behind The Avengers and Iron Man 3) I really enjoyed the plot. It mirrored and tackled current fears in the world quite well. Only complaint really is some of the cliche one liners and the fact I had to strain to hear most of the dialogue due to a combination of shitty sound system and douchebags talking (it never used to be socially acceptable to talk during a film, at the start people were talking for ages, it died down a bit, then everytime there was a lull in dialogue or action people would start talking again and then not stop until halfway through the next dialogue. during the trailers people were shouting their heads off all the way through - this would have never been tolerated in the past, it wasnt just a handful of idiots either, it was coming from every direction. I wish my town had a better cinema so I could go to a daytime showing in an emptier cinema) I would have also liked to of seen Agent Coulson appear for a bit, but meh. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}I wasn't expecting to see Zola, I don't think we've seen the last of him though. was surprised at the random Abed from Community cameo, I dont think anyone else in the cinema knew who he was though. Everyone did mark out for Stan Lee though.
Also Fury's death had no impact on me at all, did anyone honestly really think he was actually dead?

With regard to the above spoiler... {Spoiler}{Spoiler}The one criticism I do have is that, off the top of my head, all of the main characters who have "died" have not stayed dead.
Nick Fury Phil Coulson Loki x2 Bucky
Every time somebody dies I expect them to return later on.

Just got back a little while ago and I liked it quite a bit. Definitely recommend going to see it but I did enjoy the first one more. That could change after a second viewing somewhere down the line so I can try to catch the things I missed. {Spoiler} -Don't know if this should be spoiler tagged or not but the elevator scene where they all turn on Captain America, when he notices them acting strange and it zooms in on the one dude's bead of sweat reminded me of Total Recall where Arnold KNEW that guy was lying about half way through the film because of the single bead of sweat and had me laughing my ass off. Random tidbit.
-I loved Falcon but I wish he was more than Cap's lap dog and it left me frustrated when he didn't even beat the Hydra guy before the plane crashed into the building. I guess it had meaning when they saved his burning corpse because he turns into some bad guy down the line that I'm unaware of, but I really wanted Falcon to take down the second toughest bad guy.
-I liked the inclusion of Dr. Zola as the super computer and I hope that the missile didn't completely wipe it out of potentially being in future movies.
-Can someone explain the first credits scene with the twins? Unfortunately, I'm not very knowledgeable of Marvel's comic book history but if there are names or potentially what this could build up to with the Infinity Gauntlet, I would like to research more of it.
