I think since it was "... Dick." rather than "Dick" he was joking the "..." usually denotes joking.

I actually think he was joking. Like, you tagged two guys who have a 'beef' with each other in your tweet. It would be awkward for both of those guys to read that tweet.
(And also, maybe you shouldn't tag him so much, some wrestlers/people get annoyed by that)

While this may or may not be the case here, I've noticed a lot of semi-notable people (wrestlers, comic artists/writers, etc) aren't really fond of people tagging them in tweets regarding unpleasant situations or beefs. A lot of them are of the mind the tweeter is doing it to either get noticed or start/keep something going between those involved.

Honestly dude, why would you bother tweeting him in something like that?
To put it in perspective:
Imagine you had a job that you absolutely loved. You were getting paid to do everything you wanted to do and be around your closest friends while doing it.
The one draw back of this job is despite how hard you work and how well received you are by your co-workers and customers, your boss doesn't like you for some reason.
Ultimately, this boss fires you.
Now, imagine years later your former boss is on the radio and badmouthing you in a position that, due to the limitations of the medium, you can't respond to.
After he does this, someone who you thought had your back mentions you and said boss on Twitter saying you don't know where you stand. How would you honestly feel?
You aren't in the wrong for having an opinion, we all do and we're all entitled to that. But why would you go out of your way to draw that to the attention of the parties involved? I mean, you know Colt's an open dude who interacts with his fans a lot. Why would you throw a public shaming of his lifelong dream in his face? You could have tweeted the same sentiment and not mentioned him, and all would be dandy. If anything, to be blunt, that's what you're in the wrong for.
Personally, I think since it bothered you enough to post about it here, you'll feel better if you apologize. Even if he is just joking, which he very well could be, it'll make you feel better to clear that air.

Saw this on your Facebook earlier today. Like others have said, maybe it was just a miscommunication thing. Last year I had something similar happen when I tweeted about how Jack Black in 'Bernie' looks like Paul Bearer. Paul was upset with me for typing that. I sent a tweet back to Paul apologizing and saying my intention was not to offend him. Paul accepted my apology.
My advice would be send an apology to Colt, explain that you were not trying to goad him or be a dick. And if he doesn't accept it, then it's on him.

Report him to the local authorities. Yeah, what he said. Cyber bullying is nothing to take lightly.

Maybe he thought you were Richard Nixon for some reason. I really don't know why he would have thought that, but it could be a possibility.

When it comes to taking even the slightest of criticisms, Colt is like the Kevin Smith of pro wrestling.

Maybe he got confused and thought he meant Jack Black in Nacho Libre.

Alright here's what you do. If Colt is anything like my girlfriend just tell him that he misunderstood you and send him a box of chocolate. If the chocolate doesn't work you might have to get him flowers.
If that fails as well you'll need to get in a yelling match with him that ends with one of you crying.
