I've only played the demo but from what I did play of it, everything felt off. Bad controls, wonky camera and dumb A.I. I have played and finished RE1,2,3,Code:Veronica, 4 and 5 but I couldn't even bring myself to rent this.

Controls need fine-tuning.
Chris' campaign is so awful (because, GUESS WHAT CAPCOM? Much like Dead Space, your control system's weakest link is fighting ENEMIES WITH GUNS!), Chris in Chris' campaign is also awful.
The Skills are infinitely inferior to weapon upgrading in every possible way.
Zombies being magnetized to the ground (I got so heated when I shoved my shotgun in a zombies chest and pulled the trigger, and he didn't even move an inch).
The Ustanak sucks. He is clearly a combination of Mr. X and Nemesis, and yet he's so much worse than both of those guys. With that said, the fistfight with him at the end of Jake's campaign is a completely awesome idea that is ruined by it being almost completely QTEs. It would've been an epic moment if it controlled better (which is basically the running theme of RE6).
Fixed weapons for every character. I get that it makes your jobs easier, guys, but let me choose what weapons I want.
To go with the above, most of the weapons suck in this game. Generic all-purpose pistol, generic semi-auto sniper rifle, generic assault rifle, generic generic gene-zzzzzzzzz... The most interesting weapon in the game is Jake's hand-to-hand mode, and, like everything else, that's ruined by sloppy implementation.
Evil villain Colonel Sanders. I don't even remember his name. Just magic up an excuse to bring back Wesker already.
This game is made for action and yet, because the weapons suck, ammo is actually hard to come by. And not in the RE4 "I have to save enough shotgun shells in case I get in trouble" way, because that would actually be fun, it's more like "I have to use so much assault rifle ammo and this is my mainline weapon, why isn't the game giving me more?".
It's so tragic that you can see the exact things and moments you could change to make it a great game. It's not awful, and it doesn't seem to have killed the franchise, it's just not in the same league as 4 and 5.

I'm not going to lie, I legit liked Resident Evil 6, even Chris' campaign. However, there are just waay too many QTE's. I don't remember who said it, but there was a quote that I thought was pretty funny. "Somebody better tell Capcom that somebody got a little bit of video game in there zombie movie."

I don't think I can narrow it down to just 1 thing bacause The whole thing was shit.
Resi 6 was DAMN lucky "007 Legends" came out last year as that beat resi as my "Worst game of 2012"
