I saw the bomb, it was great, really interesting and changed my views on some characters. Also I look at a past episode "The Answer" in a different way.

Won't say too much, because I don't want to spoil it, but really enjoy the way this show writes it's heros/villians.

I'm miffed because I don't know how to unlock the new episodes on the fire stick version of the CN ap. If you want to see them, KissCartoon and WorldOfStevenUniverse also have them, just make sure you support the official release if you see them there.

{Spoiler}So a theory: Rose Quartzes were made to be human caretakers; hence why Rose could heal. Because of the revolution of Earth Rose Quartz, the rest of them were bubbled up and replaced by Amethyst.

So a theory: Rose Quartzes were made to be human caretakers; hence why Rose could heal. Because of the revolution of Earth Rose Quartz, the rest of them were bubbled up and replaced by Amethyst. {Spoiler}It's possible, though it does seem like it may have been a pretty unique ability. Otherwise, I don't think Lapis Lazuli would have been surprised that Steven could heal her, she had seen his gem by then and knew he was effectively a Rose Quartz. So, if all of them could do that, I think she'd probably know that, since she's from Homeworld. It'd make sense if Amethyst didn't know, but Lapis would. Peridot knew, but because Lapis told her. As for the episode {Spoiler}The "Famethyst" rule. Seems like Amethysts might tend to be jokers, but it may have just been having to be around Holly Blue Agate all the time. Anyone would try to find something to take the edge off.
Also, lanky Jasper rocks, and I loved the Amethyst having to try to console one of the humans.

{Spoiler}I really liked seeing a more mature and...experienced side of Steven. Steven isn't the same summerchild we saw in Gem Glow and I'm glad the Crewniverse is showing off his growth. I also like seeming him explore his powers as a gem.
Speaking of gems and powers: I don't think all Roses were made to care for humans or any other lifeform for the matter. I think the Rose Quartz we know and love was a prototype caring for humans, but other RQs were made to heal other gems. Remember all the talk of this Rose being special or different from other Rose Quartz gems.
I really loved What's the Point of Being Blue. The song was good and it did a great job being different. I love the a tonal quality and the Broadway vibe it has. The most gems I see, the more gems I want to see. I'd love to see another Homeworld episode, so I get to see more gem designs.

I have to wonder where the f*** they'll put them.

{Spoiler}What I like about the Fametyst, as far we know who these quartz they are still on Homeworld's side, yet they treat our Amethyst a rebel Crystal Gem like family. So that is interesting.

{Spoiler}I thought from a screengrab that Blue Diamond was going to flirt with Greg, possibly, just since it was very out of context. That'd have been f***ing something. We do know he likes big aliens, even before meeting Rose, going by those saucy sci-fi novels he has.

Steven's Dream
Great way to start this arc, and they really throw us for a curve ball, a lot of people thought this was going to be the Pink Diamond arc, looks like this is the Blue Diamond arc, the best things in life are the things you don't expect.
Well Steven and Garnet verbal fight holy crap, that was so intense and uncomfortable to watch, at least for a normal person, I don't see how Amethyst just stand there and enjoy it eating pop corn.
So the Universes go to Korea, uncle Andy is back, and we get some meta humor, I thought only "Say Uncle" would have meta humor.
Blue Pearl she is so adorable, and OMG Blue Diamond is here, didn't expect that, and she was not I expected out of an evil war lord like the Diamonds are build up to be. Still seeing another Diamond awesome. I find it hard to believe this is the same Blue Diamond we saw in "The Answer". I can't imagine this Blue Diamond order anyone to be shattered for something as pity as fusion.
Great episode.
Adventures In Light Distortion
Follow up from the previous episode, so there was a human zoo, holly crap and from what the gems say, it sounded awful.
Great to see Peridot and Lapis again, looks like they and Connie are going to protect Beach City, and it is official Lapis is a Crystal Gem, I mean protecting Beach City, taking orders from Garnet what else is there in order to be an official Crystal Gem. and the thumb up, that might be the high light of the episode for me.
The Rubies they are still alive, between them and Peridot, these little gems are tough.
So cool to see all these different gem forms. But I felt bad watching Steven through out the whole episode, Steven just broke down at the end. I don't blame him.
Okay we are the zoo, now what? We will see in the next episode.

The Heist
Well we are the zoo at least.
Nice to see Ruby and Sapphire again, they are so adorable. And seeing Sapphire the way she was in the episode, that is something. Ruby can not say Sapphire doesn't show emotions anymore.
And Holly Blue, who knows maybe another Holly Blue or a Holly Yellow is Peridot's supervisor. She is the text book upper middle class gem. And does she really not understand human speech, or is just not listening, Blue Diamond had no problems understanding Greg, is there some gem language communicator that they use on Earth?
This episode shows why the whole Steven prospective is stupid, it would have been great to cut to the various Crystal Gems in this bad situation. And poor Pearl have to pretend what she used to be.
We see some other Amethyst, I was waiting for that, all right.
This zoo doesn't look so bad, what are Greg and those other two wearing?
Anyway great episode, I am excited where we go with this zoo.

The Zoo
I thought The Zoo was a great episode. Very interesting, on the surface everything seems so happy and go lucky, but there is a dark under tone to it.
This episode does clear some things about Pink Diamond, at least what I believe Pink Diamond is like. Blue Diamond she kidnapped Greg, well to our heroes prospective yes, but in her perspective, she was helping him, trying to protect, the lesson is one person's act of kindness is another person's act of wickedness. I think the same is with Pink Diamond, the whole zoo, she was trying to do something kind for humans, but Rose and the Crystal Gems saw it has evil, I think that is what happened.
The voice, as well as J-10 they are voiced by Christina Vee, a anime voice actress who has done voices for Killua from Hunter x Hunter, Rei Heino from Sailor Moon, Hollywood from Durarara! among others, and non anime fans might know her as the title characters in Miraculous Ladybug. I wonder the voice is that Pink Diamond's voice?
Greg is very popular here, heck he got himself a little harem.
These humans they didn't seem so bad, and I like that Greg and to a lesser extent Steven respective culture enough, and didn't plan to free them, and make them "normal". And the Amethyst trying to console them hilarious.
Looks like Steven and Greg are in trouble, so next episode we wrap the bomb, we warp up this arc, and I can't wait to see it.

That Will Be All
Wow what a great conclusion to this arc.
Got to love the Famathyst, Amethyst found her family at last. I hope one day our Jasper gets to meet them, she sort part of their family to. Maybe one day.
So Blue Diamond is back and we see her without the hood, and if that wasn't enough Yellow Diamond is back also, though her color is off from her last appearance, I guess different animators. And the pearls got to love them especially Blue Pearl.
When I heard Yellow Diamond was getting a song, I thought it was going to be a great Disney like villain song, did not expect this, a song that had me in tears even though some of the lyrics we very villain like. Even Yellow Diamond almost cried, who thought the Diamonds were capable of such emotions.
I see a sisterly bond between Blue, Yellow, and even though she is not here Pink Diamond. I wonder where does White Diamond, is she like a older sister or like a mother, I guess it doesn't mater.
Garnet finally gave Holly Blue was was coming to her, and nice little sting at the end Pearl, you know she was waiting to do that for 3 episodes, go Pearl.
So Greg is rescued, and it is back to Earth, with still many questions yet to be answered.

Thanks to horsemen4ever's post, I did a wee bit of research on yellow agate and agates in general. I'd like to see yellow agate myself and I'd love to see agates protective nature on the show.

I watched these forever ago so not really been weighing in on the thread, though did just think that I meant to mention... I like the way they're going with Yellow and Blue Diamond, but I do think the show needs an actual outright villain so hoping White Diamond is just straight up evil.

Tonight's episode {Spoiler}
The New Crystal Gems
An episode I have long waited to see. Connie interacting with Peridot and Lapis, all of them interacting with the people of Beach City.
Great to see them meet in Steven's bathroom of all places, Connie reminding Lapis of when Lapis tried to drown her and Lapis reaction hilarious. And as usual Peridot is just so awesome.
Everyone wants to be Garnet, she is coolest gem, and no one wants to be Pearl well I guess because she is a Pearl and she is the least fun in a traditionally sense, but that is their opinion not mine.
So we get to see the Cool Kids again, not to mention Yellow Tail, Ronaldo, and if is officially Lars and Sadie, their relationship is canon.
Even though things did blow up in their face, I am glad Connie was able to keep things together, calling the gems a bunch of children was spot on, watching the episode I was thinking, Connie is so much more mature than the others who are thousand of years old, though in gem years who knows what that means?
It was nice for them to give Greg a new sign for his car wash, the Crystal Temps I like that name, I hope that is not the last we see of them.
All and all, this might be my favorite comedy episode, 10 / 10.

So the Pumpkin's name is just "Pumpkin". Eh, I would have gone with "Frank" myself.

Storm In The Room
Well I don't know about you guys but I felt the same way Connie did when her mother was missing. I thought perhaps Homeworld took her to the zoo. Did that thought ever cross Steven's mind at the time, though if it did, telling Connie would make her feel worse. But thank goodness that is not the case, I don't know even know what the point of that was other than to fill out the 11 minutes.
So Steven kind of meet Rose, and Rose is just a polarizing figure that Steven is never going to get an objective view on Rose from anyone, either those that love her and think she is an angel, and those that hate her, that think she is a monster.
Well you think after everything that happened in "Opening Book" Steven would realize what capability that room has, and even though it looked so life like, that was not Rose. But I guess Steven wanted to pretend for the moment.
I love in this heavy episode, we have a peanut gag, granted it has been done many times, heck not too long ago the Loud House did that gag.
Anyway I thought for a moment when Steven started yelling at room Rose, that she was going to turn into a monster and try to kill him because that is what the room thinks Steven thinks.
Well I don't know if Steven will ever get his answers, though if Steven wants talk to Rose for real, I think it was giving a clue here, if he can get inside his gem, than perhaps they can talk.
Then ending with Greg and the gems showing up it was perfect to show us while Steven doesn't have his mom, he has a family. It felt like an ending to a sitcom episode.

Rocknaldo
Well it is official we have reached a point in the show that Steven is not taking anymore crap from anyone. Ever since he yelled at Garnet and Pearl in "Stevens' Dream", Steven is not taking any crap any more, he is going to speak his mind. If he would yell at his mother, there is no question he would yell at Ronaldo.
This episode did have some funny lines, the Crystal Gem they had a small roles, they stole this episode, from Garnet's clapping, to Amethyst's Ronaldo impression, to Pearl saying they had more strange guest before aka Peridot. I swear if this was gem less episode, I don't know how I would feel.
Ronaldo at least showed some improvement in trying to do good. Though I don't blame Steven for snapping at him, he had it coming, I just knew when he started talking crap about Connie, that would be it for Steven's temperament, you don't talk about someone's lady like that, I would he like it if Steven said something like that about Jane.
I guess Ronaldo is trying to be our go between humans and gems, I don't know if that is a good idea. Good Bloodstone we hardly knew you.
I loved that Steven said the only time he is called by a gem name, are by gems that want to kidnap him or beat him up.
I don't know, this episode didn't make me like Ronaldo any more, but he made me love Steven when he yelled at him. Go Steven.

I'm glad we got a filler episodes and not every episode needs to be like Storm The Room, but this was kind of a weak episode. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}I thought them hyping Bloodstone on social media and then it ended up being just a made up gemsona was pretty damn weak. At least it got people to watch and they did advertise the show unlike what some like to say.
