]Its interesting to me that Spike TV or its parent company doesn't seem to be in the running for TNA. You'd think they'd be able to get a great deal on it, considering they already have a working relationshp with the Carters and likely inside knowledge of the company's value. That being said - I'd put TNA's actual dollar value at around $4-5MM (excluding any SpikeTV owned contracts). A 2 hour cable TV show isn't worth THAT much in today's market (unless they are absolutely crushing it in the ratings, like 3's & 4's or higher), even more so now than it was 10-15 years ago, so that's really being generous. Not a knock against TNA, but just the reality of being a TV show in 2013. Add on top of that you're basically running a company whose main job is to create a 2 hours worth of content with a cast and crew 4-6 times larger than your average 1hour long show and we're talking very low profit margin for a potential buyer, especially if they have to go through SpikeTV for any huge content changes. I think the problems they're having with Bellator right now would put them off owning any other similar company, still, how do we know they're not in the running? I can't imagine any of the dirtsheets having contacts within Viacom or the Carter family and their lawyers so we won't know anything unless a deal is close... Heck, we're still speculating over who pays for what when it comes to TNA's bigger contracts. Unlike most TV shows, TNA have the ability to make money independently of Spike without them taking a cut. Impact should be an advert for the greater TNA product, make people want to attend live shows or buy merch and PPvs, they just need people who understand how to promote these things and how to gradually build an audience, something the Carters just don't seem to get... Heck, it's something Bischoff doesn't get either despite all his years in wrestling.

I dunno for sure if Viacom is interested in buying TNA, but they are more interested in trying to make Bellator legit. As for WCW's sale the thing to remember is that Kellner just wanted it off TV. Biscoff and his backers backed out initially because they weren't getting the Nitro time slot on tv... but Bischoff convinced his backers to put another bid in... they just got tired of dealing with Kellner. I think the sale depends on how willing the Carters are to sell.
