AND SO IT BEGINS. Also, I read over the writeup for last Round, apparently I'm a mute? Why you gotta do me like that Tyger?

Should it please the court (IE Team Three), I'd like to suggest a name:
Mr. J's Soviet Love Machines!

I'm making a change for the Sing-Off. The lowest scoring contestants from the two lowest scoring teams will meet in the Sing-Off instead of the two lowest scoring contestants of the lowest scoring team. I think this is much more fair and interesting. I feel that doing it the the other way penalizes people for their Round 21 performance more than they should be.

Why not do it where the whole team is eliminated? Gets us down to 9

I wouldn't do that because it makes this Round much more important than any other round. Plus, it's a team Round, so contestants don't have as much control over what happens as they usually do. Losing three contestants at once is a bit much (and also risky because we may still have contestants dropping out later, which seems to happen every season).

Waiting on the final four songs. I'm setting a deadline for Sunday night. They've been notified already, so I hope to get the songs in time. Until then, I'm going to reveal Round 23's theme. As always, you can send in your songs now or choose to wait. I recommend sending in back-up songs, as Round 22's songs (including those that haven't been sent in yet) and the Sing-off's songs will take precedence. Still, better to have something to think about now. So, Round 23's Theme is... RebelsChoose 1 Song about Rebels and Rebellions. This song can deal with rebelling against the powers that be including school, parents, the government, mainstream culture and music, etc. It can also reference historical rebels or moments of rebellion.

3 more songs to go. While I sincerely doubt they're all from the same team, it's at least possible. So get your songs in folks.

Rankings have arrived and to be honest...I'm really underwhelmed with the Rhythm selections. I thought that they could've been much better.
