Simple poll right here. I keep seeing Daniel Bryan, CM Punk, and John Cena thrown around, but no one seems to give Cody Rhodes any recognition considering the story he had been involved in and him seemingly getting more over noawadays. At least if he wins, someone new will have been put over with this storyline. But what do you all think?

Depends.
If Bryan can get a match with Rock/Brock/HBK and goes over, then it's not vital for him to win the belt at mania. Then I guess someone like Punk can win it *shrug*
If Bryan can't get those matches booked, then it should be him.

Cena's way above buggering around with Orton for his 'Mania match. Bryan just fought Orton for the title on PPV a bunch of times. Punk's the biggest name who's fresh, and his gimmick certainly fits getting mixed up in a feud with the Authority (besides, if they didn't have plans for Punk vs. the Authority around Wrestlemania season, him vs. Orton right now would be a much less apathy-inducing feud for the next few months than the perennially aimless Big Show).

It should be Bryan, followed closely by Cody.
It will be Big Show.

I can't see Bryan winning the title at Mania anymore. I'll go with Punk.

It's going to be Bryan. He's not spinning his wheels like Kofi, Ryder, or Santino. He's in a feud with CM Punk against another heel stable WWE wants to get over like The Shield. I don't believe whatsoever that WWE has given up making Bryan a star. I think he's lower for right now so people won't get burned out with him fighting Orton 9 times in a row.
The fact Cena was given the WHC Title when there is nothing (unless rumors are true that Cena's arm isn't healed up) stopping them form putting the WWE belt on him I think is pretty strong evidence they're keeping things open for Bryan later.

I'd rather watch The Great Khali VS Hornswoggle for an hour than see Punk VS Orton again, particularly as the big 'overcoming the Authority' moment. They've already had an incredibly dull Wrestlemania match, and Punk's character arc doesn't fit at all, no matter how much people try to forget it. If it isn't Bryan (and it should be), it should be Rhodes. He's a guy who deserves the main event and the spotlight.

I'd rather watch The Great Khali VS Hornswoggle for an hour Now I'm legit genuinely curious as to see what wacky antics and mishaps would occur in a Hornswoggle-Khali iron man match,

It would probably piss off quite a few, but I'd love to see the Miz finally give Randy his comeuppance. Thought D-Bry is my first choice. It goes D-Bry, Cody Rhodes, Miz, Cena, Other, and then Punk.

I'm stillg going to be delusionally hopeful and say Bryan. Cody I'd rather see get a slow build up to the top, so that by this time next year he's looking like a genuine main eventer. Hell, given how they have pretty consistently had the best match of the night for the past few months, I'd say the best Mania match for him is against Golddust. "Tag team loses belt, one member turns heel" is old and tired, sure, but a basic story done well and leading up to an amazing Mania match? That'll carry Cody to the top a lot better than a no-chance title shot will. I don't see them bringing Punk back into the WWE title picture for a while still since he had his long-ass reign running up to last year's Rumble and it's good if they can give him something fresh. And Orton/Cena for the title part 87 will be enough to turn me off of buying Mania this year.

I'd also be okay with Miz/Orton as a non title feud while two other guys feud for the title. Miz needs his revenge, title or no title.

If he is still champion (which i hope he is not) then the only scenario i could live with would be a triple threat either with cena and bryan (unifying the titles) or punk and bryan. No interest in seeing orton v any of those three one on one again.
