Remember when Randy Orton won the world title from Christian two days after Extreme Rules 2011? With all the backlash coming from the IWC afterwards, it made Orton more hated than he ever was before.
What if, instead of turning Christian heel, WWE decided to turn Orton instead? How would things have worked out?

I would've been pretty cool with that, but I love that Randy. But then, I'm a huge Orton fan anyway. I actually am really enjoying his "spoiled rich kid" thing he's got going on right now. |

We would have gotten Mark Henry crushing Christian to win the WHC, which wouldn't have been as cool a visual as Mark taking out the number 2 face of the company at the time clean a sheet.

I think he was just the scapegoat because the office chose him to end what was the perfect sentimental World Title victory prematurely. It was another example of the office going against popular opinion and organic storytelling to keep their imbecilic plans in place. |

Christian deserved a long title reign. He could've had great feuds with Mark Henry, Cody Rhodes, and Wade Barrett as a face.
Heel Orton could've feuded with Sheamus and Daniel Bryan and help get them over.
