On wwe.shop a large majority of Sheamus merch is on sale, and not just a couple things for super BlackFridayCyberMondayWeekSavings. This typically happens if they have new shirt coming out or something or...just bear with me here.
What are the odds that this is because the dude's coming back as a super corporate heel at TLC and is the REAL Undisputed Champion that HHH somehow crowns?
Or maybe nobody's buying any Sheamus crap and they need to get rid of it.

They should stop making Sheamus merchandise and use the cloth to make more Daniel Bryan t-shirts, and use the metal from those little Celtic crosses to make more AJ Lee "Love Bites" spider pendants.

Could be their way of help making noise for his return.

If he is going to be the new corporate champion the perfect time to return is as the 30th entrant at the royal rumble. I have this imagine of Punk and Bryan as the only ones left both were early entrants probably even 1 and 2 when Sheamus music hits. You have him win the rumble right there he could not buy more heel heat than that. When he announces the next night on Raw that he will beat Cena and with the authority's backing become the face of the WWE. That would be a magical moment. Best part he does not even meed to change his character everything he did as a face will work for him as a heel. Maybe Have him go back to bashing people with lead pipes.

Chances are it's just a case of clearing his old gear out to make room for the next wave. He's been off TV for months now so sales will probably have slumped and left them with a surplus to clear.

I wouldn't read much into it. He hasn't been on TV for a bit so his merch isn't going to be selling well.

Yeah, it could mean nothing... But I think he's coming back as a corporate heel with the Authority.

I think it means that they are overloaded on Sheamus merchandise that hasn't been selling while he's off TV, so they are trying to unload some of it.

I mean the guy hasn't been on tv in months so I wouldn't expect it to be doing big numbers

I'd make Sheamus into a pub brawler. Irish, street-fighting bad ass. No spikey hair and luminous white body on display. Jeans, black t-shirt. Make him like the Ken Shamrock of this era only without the absurd overacting. Just some genuinely tough, no nonsense son of a gun who just fights cos he has to feed himself and he's not interested in thrills or entrance music or silly gimmicky names or friendships or kissing ass - he just wants to kick some ecause that's what puts food on the table.
I think some people might dig that. Someone who doesn't give much of a toss if he's a fan favourite or not, who doesn't care for talking endlessly. Few words. Brawling style. I think he could pull it off.

Sheamus is the next Sin Cara and they need to clear out the Sheamus merch
Only logical conclusion.
