linkHe was in ill health for a long time now. RIP to one of the most inspiring people to ever walk the planet. Although he was a Political figure, please try and keep Political discussion out of here. I know it's hard to discuss a figure like Mandela and not mention Politics but please keep it civil.

Just deleted my thread because I wasn't sure if it fell under the politics rule.
Regardless, thank you Nelson Mandela. Rest in peace.

I don't understand how anyone could turn a Mandela thread into a political thread. Regardless, Mandela was an inspirational man and one of my heroes.

Even after all he went through, he lived until the age of 95. That's another accomplishment that can be added onto his list of many great accomplishments.
It's very hard to find many people who lived a life as full as Nelson Mandela did. There will be plenty of celebrations coming in the next few days and weeks and all of them deserved.
R.I.P.

Just heard this on the radio. Not the most surprising news but certainly terrible to hear.

RIP. A great man who went through enormous suffering in pursuit of justice. And once he attained power, he never stopped crusading for human rights until his health made him scale back. True inspiration to all.

I don't understand how anyone could turn a Mandela thread into a political thread. Regardless, Mandela was an inspirational man and one of my heroes. Well he was a politician after his imprisonment. And to be 100% fair, his history isn't all promoting peace, love and happiness. I've read books on Mandela, a fascinating character. And to be honest the history of South Africa is just amazing in itself.

That locked thread in WWE Current now makes sense. I went there first, saw it and was like, "Wait, what?" Genuinely confused.
