Best typo in a mafia game yet.
I'm all for day one lynches, the lynch is the only weapon we have as a town outside of whatever power role that is allowed their own kills. It's the only way to get things rolling come day 2. We're in the firing squad otherwise.

I'll repost my question so it's easier to see.
How does everyone feel about Day One lynches?

It's hard to get much out of day one so everyone will have to pay close attention. You can expect many people to be very careful so they can get off on the right foot with the rest of the players. Whatever you find will more than likely be small so we'll have to look at any and everything to see what really sticks out as scummy.

Only if there is enough evidence to go for it. Day one is always the day of mystery, so if we're going to do a lynch on that day, we need to be careful, and make sure that there is a legitimate reason to go after that person.

I don't expect any of you ignoramuses to deduce who belongs to the Mafia on the premiere day. They clearly plan to use rhetoric against my greater judgment and against your lesser judgments. However, I believe The Man They Call Asher speaks with enlightened words.

I'll repost my question so it's easier to see. How does everyone feel about Day One lynches? Yeah, I'm for them. Realistically, there is never enough actual evidence for them, but they're worth the shot anyway because when it comes close to the end game, every day phase matters. Every instance where we can compare people's voting habits (as opposed to everyone "NO VOTE") gives us more to work with for future evidence and suspects.

I'm cool with Day One Lynches if there's something to go on. Could you elaborate further? What would convince you to lynch Day One? Well let's think back to TMNT Mafia. It was day one and no one had much of anything, but there was a bit too much pro-town rhetoric from BoilerRoomBrawler, so I went with my gut and put a vote on him. Hope that helps you understand.

All I know is a day without a lynch is a day that the Mafia gets a free pass. I'm not saying it's ideal to take out one of our own, but as far as I'm concerned if we want to find out who the people responsible for this mess are then we have to be willing to make a few sacrifices if we want to save our locker room/promotion/town/whatever.
But of course Day One is always the day where everyone is the most uncertain. We have no idea where to start looking and unless somebody makes a spectacle of themselves or says something stupid then it's basically a shot in the dark every time out. Day One is all about luck, really, and just hoping you can find who you're looking for, or at least point yourself in the right direction.
Of course right now is too early to start preparing the gallows for anybody. The thing we need to do over of the course of this first day is think to ourselves and try and figure out where a good place to start is. And naturally I expect most people to have a different opinion starting out.
And that's the key here: we all have to be willing to say our piece and not just follow the crowd. If somebody isn't being vocal then there's a chance they are trying to blend in. And more often than not those are your prime scum targets.
We owe it to Xavier to find the people responsible for this. So let's do our best to sniff them out.

My Iron Clad contract says I'm in favor of a day one lynch though I've always been in favor of day one lynches no matter what side I've been on in the past.

Although, that's an interesting Freudian slip. <3 My therapist <3 talks about them sometimes. When you're feeling guilty over something, you'll sometimes use the wrong word. So, be careful not to rope yourself. Unless you're that little bull guy, then go ahead.

Didn't you read my iron clad contract it states that I must say Iron Clad Contract in my posts so I will say Iron Clad Contract. Hopefully we can catch someone slip up during the first day phase and lynch us some scum.

GM: OCC, but I noticed that the first link to the basics of Mafia games is now dead (it redirects to a 404 Error page).
I feel like some are really obvious identities while other are really obscure/hard to figure out.
