Now we need a Ryback shirt that's got "RYBACK IS ON STEROIDS" on the front and "JUST LOOK AT HIM" on the back.

I'm not even offended, as much as I'm confused by WWE doing this. Again, I see no reason why WWE should market a shirt where it insults it's fanbase. Even if the shirt said "Only little children like John Cena", I would still question the point of wasting the effort to market that statement. It's Vince, dude. He likes to f*** with the people that are loyal to him. See Jim Ross, Howard Finkel. Now it's extending to loyal fans who bitch about things they don't like but still watch. This shirt will not make them money, or new fans. It only has the potential to push people away. Like you said, I'm not offended, it just makes no sense. I'm already at that point. Why should I invest in a show that doesn't invest in it's audience? It seems like if you don't agree with what they're feeding you, then instead of changing things up, they publicly mock you. Apparently anyone who doesn't like Cena is some basement dwelling sociopath or they live "in bizarro world". It's silly. It almost comes off as WWE trying to push you away with refusals to change or these kinds of insults. Whatever I guess. If that's their endgame, I'll probably soon lose interest. I already haven't watched in 2 months. I guess the next step is washing my hands of wrestling altogether. Nice going, Vince.

it's funny how some people got easily offended here I'm not even offended, as much as I'm confused by WWE doing this. Again, I see no reason why WWE should market a shirt where it insults it's fanbase. Even if the shirt said "Only little children like John Cena", I would still question the point of wasting the effort to market that statement. Honestly, I think that this is like a super meta joke Take a look at us the smarks in this forum, some really hate it and others like myself found it funny and even could wear it, so is not like is insulting the whole "IWC" and at this point they knew that the fraction that hates will.... complain online and still watch the product. And the casuals will not even get the joke neither. Is pointless? I think so too, but is funny, and honestly, I shouldn't care if it's pointless like some do here, if they want to waste their money like this, will good on them, maybe they know that they could recover the investment. fans shouldn't act like shareholders (unless they are) like some people do here (Discussing ratins or marketing costs) we should just care for the product, if is good, we watch, if not, we leave, that could teach them. Maybe that's the reason on why I like the t-shirt

No different than Cena celebrating in front of signs people bring saying they hate him. And when that happens, it's awesome.

If they're so keen on playing with the internet fans, then I demand a CM Punk T-Shirt that says "Nuclear Heat".

Wow, people are really getting upset about a t-shirt? People need to become more self aware and not take everything so literally and to heart. at the end of the day we are posting on a message board about a tv show where some oily topless men pretend to fight each other in a made up sport with rules that defy all logic. Lighten up.

Maybe that's the reason on why I like the t-shirt I get it, it's an "inside joke", it'd be like Star Trek's producers putting out a t shirt that says something like "Outside your mom's basement: The final frontier" or something. Hell most trekkies I know embrace their nerdiness, as I do mine. I'm not ashamed of being a wrestling fan. Here's the thing, if you've had four straight PPV's that have received crap-tastic reviews, two have come back with way below expectations buyrates, one of which is the second worst selling show in the 29 years you've run PPV's, and two of the four have had customers demanding (and getting) refunds, is now the time to openly mock any portion of your fanbase with a t-shirt?

To be completely fair to all parties, unless I'm missing something, it doesn't say when the shirt was created and first sold. So it very likely could have been made before this recent string of bad PPVs. Also considering the bad PPVs didn't have anything to do with Cena, and was the fault of shitty main event angle booking, It'd be very doubtful they'd make this shirt to poke fun at fans right now. Because let's be serious... most fans are blaming Cena's push for the less-than-stellar product that they're putting out right now. Call me after TLC on that end though.

Lighten up. It's hard to just lighten up when they constantly pull this "make fun of the fans" shit time after time after time. Eventually, it stops becoming tongue-in-cheek and starts becoming true to life. I'll "lighten up" whenever THEY decide to lighten up.

Not to threadjack, but that is an awesome shirt. That's a pretty damn awesome shirt. Sidenote, since I just started as a CO at one of the local correctional facilities, I'm really wishing I could get a few guys on my crew who were wrestling fans just so we could start shift to The Shield's theme. That or Bossman's, either way.
