Going to a Bowl game in Boise must be like showing up to a hot date and the girl has a mustache. What a let down. Here's letdown for ya, I live two hrs from Atlanta and my team is playing there for the first time. Last game to see Manziel and I cannot go. That sucks. What's up with that? Couldn't get tickets? Other obligations?

This is kind of telling about the New Mexico Bowl, which was fantastic game.

4A state title had more people than a bowl game. This is not the big title like Friday night lights, this is the next level down

Other obligations? Just had my third child. Babysitter is no option as my son is autistic and prone to pretty spectacular stemming fits. It's all good. I'll make it up to the SEC title game some yr when they are all bigger. I have said a lot of negative things about manziel off the field but I always wanted to catch the excitement of seeing one of his escapes in person

Damn. Aledo's average score was 63-9. Looking at their schedule they had a month run with scores of 84-7, 77-16, 84-7, and 91-0. The last two teams that they beat in the playoffs must have felt pretty good about holding them to 29 and 38 respectively.

USC head coach Steve Sarkisian wants former interim coach Ed Orgeron on his staff.
NFL scouts are still hoping Oregon redshirt sophomore QB Marcus Mariota changes his mind and declares for the draft, according to National Football Post's Len Pasquarelli.

Boise State junior QB Joe Southwick took a polygraph test in an attempt to prove his innocence after he was dismissed by the team from participating in Tuesday's Hawaii Bowl.
Southwick claims he was falsely accused of urinating from a hotel balcony, an allegation that got him sent home early from the islands by interim coach Bob Gregory. Backup quarterback Nick Patti was also suspended by the team, but Patti was then reinstated while Southwick flew home. "Really, this gives me a leg to stand on," Southwick said of the polygraph, which he told the media corroborated his version of events that Southwick witnessed another player urinate off the balcony and then went to bed. "They had to make a call, very quickly," Southwick said. "Unfortunately, they made the wrong one." Boise State plays Oregon State on Christmas Eve.
SMU coach June Jones signed a three-year contract extension on Monday.
Bucknuts.com reports that Michigan senior T Taylor Lewan is facing assault charges for an alleged incident that happened after last month's loss against Ohio State.
The alleged act occurred in front of The Little Brown Jug restaurant in Ann Arbor during the morning hours of Dec. 1, shortly after the previous day's game. The following comes from Bucknuts.com's report: "Between the road and the sidewalk front of The Little Brown Jug is a seating area with a metal fence around the perimeter. That night, the sidewalk was full of people when the accuser and his friends walked through the area en route to Panchero's Mexican Grill – next to The Little Brown Jug. Unaware of the perimeter fence, one of the people in the group bumped into it and tripped. 'We were sort of just walking by when the crowd started making a bunch of noise,' Curtis, a victim and eyewitness, said. 'I had no idea what was going on, but the next thing I knew, the crowd parted and a huge guy in a red polo shirt came up to me and punched me in the face." Sergeant Mike Scherba of the Ann Arbor Police Department declined to comment on the report.
