I just noticed in that pic, he's holding an actual green lantern. The shirt is cool and all, but an accessory? That's just goofy.

Ah, so a fan who thinks he's part of the show then. We got one of those in PWG, she's called Pinky, and announces herself on the messageboards that she would or wouldn't be attending shows, disrupts matches, yelled at the kids working the t-shirt/dvd table possibly smacked them, and generally thinking she's entitled to more than everybody else. She's also a sassy fat black woman. Yes Shelton's mama has invaded PWG Oh I know. I just want to see Konga Dave trying to restrain himself from strangling GLF. seriously it'd be funny. GLF-THe Midnight Express has never done anything good for the business and in general are just another of those "better then, then they would be now teams" Konga DAve-YOU said what SHOULDN't BE SAID...THEy would still be great TODAY DAMMIT!

I think he was originally asked to leave because the show was over, and the ROH students had to break everything from the ring to the guardrails to the lighting and stage down and pack it up, not to mention pick up all the streamers and clean the building. This guy just wanted to hang around the building and talk to wrestlers, who were probably tired and wanted to go to their hotel rooms or hit the road, and he would just get in the way of the students trying to clean everything up. He should have just left. Trying to re-enter is where he screwed up big time, and that's why he's banned now. Someone described the student as a bouncer, and the building as a bar. When he got asked to leave at first, he is out for that night, but welcome back the next night and any other night, but not that night. When he tried to enter again that night, he got the ban.
As for who GLF is and why he is hated. He's just some fan, who goes to every show, gets ripped on by Corino, and keeps time. People hate him because he tries to get himself over. No matter what anyone says, when you go to every show and have a wrestling show 'uniform' (that GL jersey), you're trying to get over. I don't know the guy, so I can't say I like or dislike him, but the whole keeping match time thing is lame to me. Anytime anyone tries to overanalyze wrestling, give star ratings or go to shows for anything other than having fun, its pretty lame to me.

Until someone knows for sure what he did to get banned, I won't make a judgement. I've also never seen him act like an ass during the shows. What does/did he do?

Your ring has four sides, but only one Shelton's mama.
that was horribly lame, but it's late/early, cut me some slack.

We have a couple in NWA-TRW (ECCW). Just generally really moronic people who are general pricks.

So Lanturd got banned, don't think he'll be going to CHIKARA either as he was constantly talking about strip clubs and swearing there.

Hal's 2nd best behind Alan. That, my friends, is why $lim will always be money. Although, Hal is third best, behind Alan and Tomar Re.

Well based solely on this guy's side of things, he's still in the wrong.
He probably wasn't invited backstage to begin with (if that were the case he probably would have mentioned it in his rant), one of the wrestlers (a student wrestler, but still a WRESTLER) wanted him to leave, he gets escorted out, he attempts to sneak back in...
That right there would be plenty to get me to tell Smithers to take out the "BANNED FOR LIFE" stamp. And of course since this is his side of the story only, it is quite possible he did other stuff to annoy ROH employees prior, or after.
Also, his knowledge of the names of these ROH staff members, and his feeling that he's entitled to the wrestlers time after the show ...comes off very creepy.

Wow. This guys sounds like a real pain. I reckon they were just looking for a reason to ban him.

He's more than obsessive. He's psycho. Fans should not have gimmicks. You're not working for the company. Save the spotlight for the guys in the ring - who are probably making less than you on your regular job. Keep your crap in check, chant, cheer, enjoy the show but to get invovled - unless you're asked to - it's time for you to get banned from a promotion. End of story.
Anyone have that e-bay link?

Not to respond to your post (I agree with it), but your "idea of LATINO Heat," is well... unintentionally hilarious. LATINO is masculine. As in you love Latin MEN. LATINA would be what you intended. Just a heads up, ese.

And at least Hat Guy in ECW helped set up the ring and helped out wrestlers with rental cars and such. I recall him working the Viking Hall door once, as well. He works for the postal service, so I'm not sure how he helped folks out with rental cars... SOMETIMES... Sometimes he made it over to the other side. Usually sitting near Mike Johnson and Lenny.

As I mentioned earlier, reports say he and his buddies skipped the long line for GBH5 Night Two for the Manhatten Center and got on the next elevator while most people had to wait over an hour. I also heard he got into a fight with another fan before the show. Stories like that. He's rubbed a good number of people the wrong way. And at least Hat Guy in ECW helped set up the ring and helped out wrestlers with rental cars and such. GLF also went to ECW shows but wasn't on the camera side so we didn't have to look at him. I can confirm that he did in fact skip to the front of the line at GBH5 Night 2 as I was there, and a few people around me didn't seem pleased with it either. I guess since he feels he's widely recognized by the staff and some fans, he's a star apparently, at least in his mind. I hear he buys out nearly the entire front row for him and his buddies at various shows also. Seems like a nice guy, he wanted to borrow my pen at a show in 2004 in Philadelphia, just a bit too obsessive at times, especially with the stopwatch deal. Somewhere Corino is doubled over in extreme laughter about it all.

I agree 100%. When I go to shows I want to see wretlers wrestle, not some regular joe in the crowd with a lame gimmick. As for the whole situation, I don't know enough about GLF or RoH to pass judgement on either. If RoH is a private company, they have a right to refuse him.

Well,IMO,just the fact that after this incident he apparently ran to a computer and started making the classic "Long and Overly Dramatic I am upset and never coming back" post, complete with the uneccessary extra little insults and dirty laundry airing, tells me this fellow is lacking in the maturity department and may likely have "attention" issues. There are also some key things going on in his post which, upon closer scrutiny, are indicative of decpetiveness.
And like has been said, that is only his version of the story,so of course he is going to tell you "I was just standing around, praying and helping to feed the poor, then these mean ROH guys came over and threw me out for no reason";really I'd need to the version from the fellow who initially removed him to get some perspective and even then the truth probably lies somewhere inbetween both versions.

It's not just GLF's excessive fanboyishness that is annoying at ROH shows.
There are also a few fans in Philly I have seen at shows who walk around with replica belts - which is almost as sad as GLF.
