Ummmm.. I dont get it. I can se why he was thrown out after the show but why ban him? what did he do? because its certainly not explained there other than "I wanted to talk to X wrestler". HE TRIED TO GO BACK IN AFTER HE WAS KICKED OUT! YOU DON'T DO THAT! HE WAS BANNED! Yup. It's about as cut and dry as that. Sucks for him, but that's what you get when you let your passion take over.

Eh. I dont really have a problem with gimmick/dressed up fans, as long as they don't do their schtick all freaking night. There have been several times where I've been more entertained by my fellow fans than the show in the ring. But don't ever think you're a f***ing celebrity because a few marks chuckle at your signs or whatever.

Personally, I'd rather have fans that get into it than people that sit or their hands or act like complete marks.

The only kind of fans I CANT stand are the ones who are overly profane (Its one thing chanting SHUT THE F*** UP at an ECW show when everyone is doing it, but no one wants to hear you screaming it over and over at a WWE show with kids), ones who chant BORING (especially during low card matches) or ones who hold their uncreative signs up during an entire match.

At the MXW show, there was an obviously intoxicated man behind us who was, shall we say, living the Stone Cold lifestyle, who was getting way into it, and at one point slurred out at Claudio "Yeah, now yer gonna get f***ed up!" I leaned over to my friend and suggested we might want to move to the other side of the ring, if possible. I was also sitting next to a guy who was running a promotion out of Syracuse, which is only a little ways off from my hometown. We talked about indy wrestling for a little bit, but then the show started and him and one of his wrestlers were constantly getting on the talent and trying to get themselves over. It was a little embarrasing having to sit next to those guys, especially considering I had my own look going, and kinda looked like I might be with them. The upside was, there was group of guys who were behind us who were awesome smarks, and CHIKARA fans to boot. They marked hard for the Sweeney/Kingston/Player Uno triple threat match, and we blew the roof off when Max Boyer came out. I felt bad, because I didn't even get a chance to get their names and chat it up more with them. It's not everyday you get to talk to people that dig something other than WWE in this town.

Well, there's 15 ringside seats every show opened up now to people who ordinarily wouldn't have a chance at them.

I've tried defending this guy before when it came to his actual behavior during shows, since he usually did a lot of chant-leading for faces, etc. However, over time, I came to see just how full of himself he was, and how entitled he seemed to feel, when, really, he's just some schmuck who goes to wrestling shows. Like Cody said, now we can FINALLY get first row tickets! Also, he posted this on the DOI? The most blatantly, and blindly, anti-ROH site going?

Much the same can be said for the Jerzey Boyz - who sit out in front of New Alhambra, drinking Heinekin beers, blaring Disturbed from their rides prior to CZW shows.

The whole "fan as celebrity" thing is downright pathetic, IMO. If your claim to fame is wearing a GL t-shirt, carrying a FN lantern, and basically making a ass of yourself is what it takes to get attention, then I feel sorry for that guy. I bet he got beat up a lot while growing up, because obnoxious attention-ho'ing doesn't just kick in once you graduate High School. Why can't more fans be like Konga Dave? He knows his wrestling, can laugh at himself, and is humble (not in a Iron Sheik way) about what attention he got. He cares about the performers. I don't get that feeling from GLF. His pissing and moaning just shows that he cares only about himself. Heh...can gimmick wrestling fans be primadonnas? GLF is creating a good case for saying "yes".

i hate people like this guy. And the people who bring in title belts. I remember in Corino's shoot, he summed it all up with GLF.
"Hug you, dont tell me how to work. Your just a 40 year old virgin with a green lantern shirt"
Id be more than happy if this guy never shows up to any other shows again.

Man if he was really always buying 15 front row seats, thats just sad. Stop being such a mark for yourself "OMG THE WRESTLERS HAVE TO SEE ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111"

I'm surprised this thread has gotten up to 5 pages, I guess he was that noticeable.
Now, he'll probably go to IWA-MS or JAPW shows and monopolize the front row tickets there too, till they get annoyed with his ass.

He's already at JAPW front row. The funny part is one show I went to around last X-mas, there was a group of college age kids in the front row across from him aand one was in a Green Lantern shirt calling him out. It was HYSTERICAL.

Well, no matter what, you gotta admit that old "Straight Shootin'" DVD of GLF that someone had whipped up was HIGH-LARIOUS!

Someone made a photoshop a long ways back that featured Green Lantern Fan in ROH's "Straight Shootin'" series. Unfortunately, I never saved it. It was in someone's sig for a while. EDIT:
