AJ's win last night has me asking this one. It just seems to me that at this stage there really aren't any viable contenders for AJ-she has gone over just about every woman on the roster multiple times. So it seems to me the only options now are either rebuild some of the other girls from the ground up-or bring in some fresh faces to compete for the title. And considering some of the ladies they have in NXT right now, I'd say the latter is a pretty appealing option-there are any number of talented females who seem quite ready to make the jump to the main WWE roster. I'm personally going to predict that after WWE does its usual "spring cleaning" in 2014 we may start to see some NXT girls appearing on RAW and Smackdown-the roster is a bit crowded right now and there are a few women WWE can probably do just as well without. And I even expect that if Total Divas does not get renewed next year that it would speed that time frame up even more. Don't ask me why, but I am still kind of enamored of the idea of Cesaro, Sheamus, and Paige forming an all European stable.

When one of Nikki Bella's gross implants explodes (so probably about a month from now tops).
I would like to see Kaitlyn get another shot at the title. That was a really good feud.

It's Summer Rae's time to shine! Seriously though, while I would like to see Paige, Emma, Bailey or Sasha come up (Charolette's not ready yet), until NXT debuts new gals in the mix, they'd be lacking at the moment too.

I think if anyone gets called up, it's after Mania. And I think the first logical call up would be Emma. I would say Paige but she's still only 21. She's been wrestling for several years, but I'm sure they could groom her more for mic skills etc. I would like to think Paige gets called up in 2014 too though.

Sometimes I hope they never do.
On NXT they get a chance to have great matches and not completely demeaning, idiotic storylines.
WWE would really have to change up the way they write for women on the main show, you know? Otherwise they'll just be wasted.
Though if they did you could swing a dead cat and hit a better female wrestler than 99% of the main roster.

I wish they'd given Summer Rae the opportunity to actually wrestle as SurSer, because she's pretty good on NXT. Instead, they have her dance, throw a tantrum and get pinned. Hopefully they inject some of the talent into the main roster, as I'd go as far as to say the NXT women's division pretty much craps on the main roster one ATM.

Paige, Emma, Sasha & Bayley are ready to go! don't know why they're still not getting the call-up, it just doesn't make sense!

Paige, Emma, Sasha & Bayley are ready to go! don't know why they're still not getting the call-up, it just doesn't make sense! As I said in my OP, the division is really built around AJ and Total Divas right now. If Total Divas were to not be renewed next year I think that would change the way the division is being booked drastically. I also expect if AJ were, God forbid, suffer an injury and have to be off TV for a few months that would shake the formula up a lot. And as another person pointed out, NXT probably needs to bring in a few more women to fill the gaps when their present talent start going to the main roster. I'll lay it out and say my personal expectation is that WWE is going to future endeavor several women during their usual "spring cleaning" period, with Alicia Fox, Aksana, and Layla being the ones I would consider most likely to have the ax drop-which would in turn open the division a bit for some NXT girls to make the jump.

WWE Network should do a Divas show, hell they can tape a match before Raw and a match before Smackdown then fill the rest of the time with Glow like vignettes.

Though if they did you could swing a dead cat and hit a better female wrestler than 99% of the main roster. That's how I feel. Despite being a one-hour show, the Divas on NXT get a lot more time for promos and matches and have more defined characters. I almost don't want Paige or Emma or Bayley to go to WWE and get lost in the shuffle. You would think the three hour show would provide more opportunities for Divas to be featured prominently, but the one-hour NXT easily provides a better platform for Divas to perform.

WWE now thinks firing people en masse makes the company look bad.

Alicia Fox isn't going anywhere. She does a ton of PR work for WWE. Meanwhile Layla is gonna be 37 and she's well past her prime. And god, I dunno what Rosa Mendes does, but get rid of her. Aksana is worth having around to be the resident diva jobber.

Divas are basically exempt from any "spring cleaning" these days. The only way they're leaving the WWE is of their own accord, or if it's some behavioral problem.
When was the last time a diva was fired for having a lack of talent?

Maybe for the Rumble when the inevitable Godfather cameo needs some ho's.
More realistically: probably not until after Mania.

After AJ's promo last night and her win, she has to move on from the Total Divas...
