Rumble is usually fun at least. Can the WWE make it lackluster? Find out as 2014 rolls on.

It's impossible to screw up a Rumble unless you:
A) Have Vince Russo book it B) Have Alberto Del Rio win it
So I think we're good.

If they keep it up until March, how good will Wrestlemania look?

This is pretty much how things have been the last few years.
SummerSlam's awesome, then it all nosedives until the Rumble, then aside from the focus on part-timers the Road to WrestleMania season's pretty good again.
So as much as we all bitch about the product right now (justifiably, in my opinion), we're almost to the end of the yearly down period.

Hope its at least better than 2013. This years rumble match was subpar not just because cena won, but it lacked a lot of big moments and the action was lame. I disliked even more that wwe title match was the main event and thought the match sucked. Rock blew up and while I understand the significances of punk's 434-day reign ending and rock's first title win in over a decade, the rumble match should always be the main event of royal rumble!

That's kind of a cop out by the WWE though, they're essentially saying "we know that we'll get killed by football, so we'll give our loyal viewers garbage."

Most of the fun that comes from the PPV is the Rumble itself, so even if the rest of the card is dull, the show can still be entertaining if the Rumble is good.

They managed to screw up TLC, which is normally a good-great PPV, they can easily screw up the Rumble too.

Thankfully, I saw the writing on the wall as soon as Orton cashed in. I knew that that moment was just about all we were going to get. I stuck around for a few more weeks before eventually saying sayonara to staying invested in watching. I'll tune back in when they get their creative heads out of their asses. And that doesn't look like it's going to happen anytime soon.

I have full confidence the WWE can make it six in a row at the Royal Rumble next month.

The divas match, Bryan/Wyatts, and the 4-way tag, were all good, so TLC wasn't all that bad.
More so than the PPVs as a whole, it's been the endings that have fallen flat recently.

The problem with the Rumble is the idea of Orton being champ. Orton in a Wrestlemania main event just sounds like warm death.
