I like both of them but Cena speaking for Bryan and defending him at every turn like an overprotective father is watering down Bryan a little for me. Makes him look a bit weak. He should have been the one calling out Orton at the start of the show....

Yes! He really is the new Hogan. Holy hell did that ending remind me of WM 9.
He was only out there for his own benefit

Could be good if they use that as a reason for a feud down the line.

Yes! He really is the new Hogan. Holy hell did that ending remind me of WM 9. He was only out there for his own benefit 8 months ago he was criticized for not helping people out when they were getting beat down. Cena can't win with some people, and IMO that's why they shouldn't even try

Well at the end it makes sense for Cena to run in since it seem very likely that Orton was going to beat the sh** out of Bryan.

I feel like they're going to turn Bryan heel because WWE hates money, it's fans and common sense.

People got annoyed about no one saving Bryan's ass during the many, many beatdowns during the Summer/Fall/etc. And now we have Cena making the save, and people are mad.

Normally I'd agree, but that ending made perfect sense.

Yes! He really is the new Hogan. Holy hell did that ending remind me of WM 9. He was only out there for his own benefit Just remember, John Cena ran out because someone booked it that way. Hulk Hogan came out because he demanded to win the title. Cena is no Hogan.

Is the John Cena defending Daniel Bryan ruining The Lord Tensai gimmick?

CENA JUST WANTS HIS SON BACK Actually, Cena was the son who was wanted back, so... Is Bryan his little brother he's training to wrestle? I guess that makes Brie the vaguely girlfriend-ish character. Who's Danny Glover?

I wouldn't say Cena is ruining it for Bryan, but it is coming off a bit odd.
At this point in his career, Bryan (in kayfabe) shouldn't be relying on Cena to help him get a match with Orton. Bryan should be able to do that himself. The fans have fully embraced him as a ME guy, but it seems like the WWE still doesn't trust him all the way with his promos.
As for Cena coming out at the end of the show, I don't really have a big issue with it. I do wish he had held off just a bit longer so Orton could actually look like he's about to start attacking Bryan. Cena seemed to rush it a bit and it almost came off like Cena was just waiting for the match to end to attack Orton.
In reality, no one is really to blame or it getting hurt because of it, but I do think it is coming off as a big awkward.

Right now it's not that bad.
Now when it gets to the point where we get segments with Bryan failing to change a car tire, getting shoved off a rampway whilst in a wheelchair, or being cheated on when Brie gets with Cena, then you might have a valid complaint.

The Daniel Bryan Gimmick is un-ruinable.
But Cena is very annoying in his constant quest to show what a swell guy he is.
