I want the brandsplit back; there's rumors that Smackdown is going live, and if it does, i want the split back.
I want Kane as essentially the warden of an Australia-esque prison colony; a dystopia, anarchy filled place where every episode has an over-arching plot and cross-card interaction, with no real main eventers, where anyone could open or main event at any time. The first episode would start with the WWE European Championship, the Television Championship, and the hardcore championship laid out in the ring.
Kane would bring out the entire roster for a No-DQ elimination match, by pinfalls and submissions, with the last three men standing to be made the show's champions. I'm aware this is the craziest idea ever.
Smackdown would be both in kayfabe and in advertising treated as the rougher, more lawless, "B-show;" kind of a Tortuga situation, with its own titles, that almost never interacts with Raw, rarely having matches on PPV. It's essentially a NXT Redemption sort of thing, except it allows guys who'd never normally have matches a place to showcase themselves.
Essentially think "ECW," but with a kayfabe sense of total lawlessness, and the idea that being there is a punishment. It's hell.
My suggested roster: Alex Riley Wade Barrett Brodus Clay William Regal Yoshi Tatsu Zack Ryder Tensai Curt Hawkins Tyson Kidd David Otunga Ezekiel Jackson Dolph Ziggler JTG Justin Gabriel
And that's my idea.

. It's essentially a NXT Redemption sort of thing, except it allows guys who'd never normally have matches a place to showcase themselves. I've posted the idea of SmackDown as a true B-show/NXT Redemption type of deal many times before in the past, so I like it. However, I don't think they should "never" interact with RAW. I think that while SD should focus on the mid/undercard guys, someone like Cena, Bryan, or Punk should be there to put on a throwaway "bonus match" for the sake of the ratings/ticket sales. Like have all the midcard storylines, but end the show with John Cena vs. Fandango or Randy Orton vs. Alex Riley or MizTV featuring Tyson Kidd. I'm not sure about this part, because to me all that does is put a stigma on the performers for no reason. I like a show to showcase the lower card, but you should never outright say "This is the jobber show".

I like the idea that the only time the upper carders from Raw show up is when they're SENT there as punishment, and the implication that Smackdown is a dangerous environment for them.

The Brand split is over. The Berlin Wall has fallen. And just like communist Russia before it, time has proven both to be abject failures that only succeeded in theory as the top % still got the lion's share, regardless of perceived equality or opportunity.

A show full of perceived "jobbers" getting a chance to shine isn't the worst idea - but I don't know if Smackdown should be the vehicle for it.
Although the idea of a 6 man tag of Ryder/Gabriel/and Tatsu vs 3MB as a main event is both interesting and terrifying.

I think that WWE should fully embrace SmackDown as the B-Show (but doing it in a way that doesn't stigmatize the performers). Smackdown as a showcase for the lowercard would be fine if they had a few proven "draws"/established talents each week to help keep the show afloat/give people a reason to watch and draw eyes to the lesser talents or give some kind of rub. I think a decent main event for such a show would be something along the lines of CM Punk & Daniel Bryan vs. 3MB.

I think the 'punishment' idea can still work if you play it off as less being a punishment for not acheiving, and more the idea that Kane (or whoever else runs the show) "chose" them, he wanted them there for whatever twisted purpose. And when a RAW guy gets sent there, it's not "Oh, go slum with the B-Team", it's "Oh, by the way, I'm handing you over to Kane for a while."

I like the idea of William Regal as part of the active roster. It adds to the chaos nature. You never know who will walk out of the curtain.
