Random idea for 3MB at the Rumble; thoughts?

Now, I know it's not even guaranteed that 3MB will even be in the Rumble at this point. Plus, I'm sure a few of those who remember the killer disappoint when Jinder Mahal came out in the coveted #27 spot last year won't even want them to be in... but hear me out on this idea.

We've seen 3MB recently take to doing impressions of famous Wrestlers, coming out to the old theme songs and dressing up; such as The Fabulous 3Birds and the Plymouth Rockers.

What if, during the Rumble, Entrant 10 is about to come out and you hear this: "ON THIS DAY, I SEE CLEARLY" Edge's theme tune hits and the crowd goes wild, they think "No way, no way is he back?!" but just then Heath Slater strolls out dressed in Edge gear, acting it up for the crowd.

Just as Slater is about to be eliminated, Entrant 14's music hits and it's Mick Foleys music; now he's not too unbelievable for the crowd to think "oh it must be 3MB again... but it is, it's Drew Mcintrye in the Mankind mask.

And then on to Entrant 16, Stone Colds music hits...by this time the crowd don't react and Jinder Mahal walks to the ring in his traditional silence.

Sound good?

The catch is that there should be one more revered legend available, and one that is the real deal that pays off the 3MB impersonations. And it has to be someone outside the roster must like Foley, Edge, and Austin,

I'd also accept that!

I just want WWE to do *something* with them if they all do enter.

It was like that 2010(?) Royal Rumble, with 40 men and the whole booking centred around "Will The Core and New Nexus finally collide?!" ... so they had both factions run out pre-match and brawl and then they didn't really ever interact after that.

If you have stables/factions in The Rumble you might as well book them in an interesting way together, even if that means having them enter pretty soon after each other and slightly ruining the kayfabe "randomness" of the Rumble draw.

I still think the better option [with Slater's jobberness and athleticism, mostly] would be in: Slater comes to the ring, starts to jump over the top rope to get to the ring, but while he's in the air but just over the rope, he gets pushed back over and hits the ground- giving the first ever :00 elimination time in the Rumble and officially set the unbreakable record.

I actually really like this idea. Edge's music hitting would get a huge pop and make everyone wonder what was happening since he's never wrestling again ever, and once they see it's Heath Slater making an ass of himself, that would probably get some good heat. It sounds so much better than just having them come out, do nothing exciting or noteworthy, and get eliminated.
