You'd think they'd just cancel the show at that point

It was an unique approach to the empty arena match. Also helped that participants has experience wrestling in empty arena matches. Just this time it was marketed to an army of fetish strokers. Or was it?

That's pretty damn cool. A whole match shot like a backstage brawl segment, very cinematic. I feel if a company really wants to do "sports entertainment"(I know that term is tainted by WWE, but I still haven't heard a better one) and blurr the line between pro-wrestling and a regular TV drama this is the kind of stuff they should look at.

Loved this match. It came off so brutal, was definitely something different.
TNA at that time was very dark. You had Anderson's legit concussion being an angle, Anti-Christ Jeff Hardy, ImmorTal/Fourtune generally dominating everyone, Sarita and Taylor Wylde beating the shit out of each other every week, Stevie Richards almost getting his neck broken by a Styles Clash turning into a worked-shoot thing on ReAction. It made the show hard to watch, but at times the grit worked to their advantage. On the other hand WWE was putting on a decent product with a much lighter approach, it was a good contrast.

Man, forgot about this match. Really brutal looking, they should do stuff like this more often to sell feuds.

I miss these two teams they worked so well together. One of my favorite Tag Team feuds in TNA history behind MCMG vs. Beer Money.
