Just once, I'd like to see a thread like this get no sold. Zero replies, off the page, done. There's no real debate to be had, and it boils down to "you're a troll" "no I'm not" Let's not forget all of the "All of the posts in this thread are this and that. Come on! Rise above this!" posts. I can't quite tell if you're saying my post is one of the type you mentioned. Either way, touche.

Troll thread? Yeah, probably. Funny to see how everyone jumps in to say "that's not cool, bro", yet the same people will create another "I hate Orton/Del Rio" thread which will be equally trollish and no one will bat an eye.

The difference is that lots of people hate Orton/Del Rio for whatever reason, even though I personally think Alberto gets a bad rap. Zaq seems to be the only person that doesn't like Daniel Bryan.

I've tried to warm up to him but he's like that bland food your step mum cooks and you can't stomach it but put on a brave face and you pretend it's ok.
I watched him look up to Orton in a promo a few weeks ago and thought "Is this serious?"
Non fans have walked in with Daniel Bryan on the screen and were like "who the f*** is that?"
I say no more.

Orton is tall, but he's not really presented as being a "big" guy, so I can buy Bryan as a threat to him. Even Cena, with his big muscles, and freakish strength, isn't really presented as a "powerhouse" type of wrestler, so I can buy Bryan going toe to toe with him as well. Have your non fan friends actually seen Bryan wrestle?

The difference is that lots of people hate Orton/Del Rio for whatever reason, even though I personally think Alberto gets a bad rap. Zaq seems to be the only person that doesn't like Daniel Bryan. So "I hate XY" threads are perfectly okay as long as it isn't the FAN favorite? No, it's just less likely to be a troll thread. Right? Because if there are several people who hate a wrestler, you could have several threads about it, each one started by a different person at a different time. It's not one person spamming their hate over and over. But if there's only one guy who hates a wrestler, if you get more than one thread about it, they're all gonna be started by that same person. So it starts looking trollish... like, "OK, but how many times do you really need to 'get this off your chest'?" I don't know that this particular guy is trolling (although the phrasing, "I'm getting sick of (a wrestler I've repeatedly made hate threads about)", makes me think he might be... it's a pitch to be seen as someone who used to like a wrestler before this thread and is only now souring on them, which isn't the case), but that's the way I read that post.

I'd have a lot more respect for you if you just admitted this was a troll thread and that you're trying to get everyone's goat because to imply otherwise is a farce. You don't HONESTLY want to debate the merits of Daniel Bryan. You just wanted to start shit. Admit it. I don't even have a problem with you disliking Daniel Bryan but get the f*** over yourself. This didn't need to be a thread. We get it, okay? We all know this is your gimmick. We got it a long time ago, so you don't have to remind us. So question. Did you even read the thread? I've gone out of my way to make sure that all my posts come across as respectful and polite, I haven't insulted posted a stupid snarky response to anybody and have openly welcomed proper, logical arguments that I will gladly argue about. It's everybody else who's going "LOL YOU'RE TROLLING" and trying to cause a problem that does not need to be caused. You know what? I don't want this thread to be locked and I still stand by my previous statements so this will be the last time I respond to anybody accusing me of trolling. Complain all you want people but I'm only going to talk to people who actually want to agree/debate about Daniel Bryan. The thing is, yes, you have been snarky in this thread. For example, you've had posts where you seem to take a front where you say, "Guys, I just want to discuss this...." but then a couple posts later, when someone asks what would make Bryan interesting to you, you offer, "Oh, if he was off my TV," and "If the angle continued where he got beat up by the Authority, that was fun." You are telling me that those aren't snarky comments completely counter-intuitive to discussion? And that was just within the last page or so. Of course, I'm sure those were just jokes that people who like Bryan took too seriously, and that we're being too sensitive. Then when someone debates that point, you go back to saying that you're just trying to simply discuss the issue and that you were never snarky, and then if someone wastes the time to prove you wrong by quoting more bits of your snarkiness throughout thread, it inevitably would hardly be worth the effort, and would be met with, "lol, you care so much." So instead, what I am proposing is that we can all grant you a specifically labeled (non-stickied) Anti-Bryan thread in the WWE-Current section that is completely yours, where no one else will post and you can air your anti-Bryan opinions into it to your heart's content whenever you feel the need to bump it. It can be like glancing over at the town vagabond blathering his grievances into the mouth of the town's water well in some rural irish novel, and people can read it for amusement while you can get the attention you so clearly clamor for by looking at the view count. The only condition is that you can never post an anti-Bryan sentiment in a normal WWE-Current thread. That will be for your thread only. Because, though it might come off like we are marginalizing your opinion, you clearly can't have a discussion about Bryan with an open mind. How does this sound to you Zaq? And everyone?

Tyson Kidd could be in the same spot. He just doesn't have such a insane crowd following or a WWE rocket up his rear end.

Wouldn't not having the insane crowd following suggest he COULDN'T be in the same spot? I like Kidd fine, I'm just trying to figure out your argument here, cuz it seems a little chicken/egg.

He doesn't have the following so he obviously couldn't be on in that spot. f*** it, if we're going by that logic, JTG could be in Bryan's spot. HORNSWOGGLE could be in Bryan's spot.

Tyson Kidd could be in the same spot. He just doesn't have such a insane crowd following or a WWE rocket up his rear end. I like Tyson Kidd, he is an incredible in ring talent. I have said before he deserves a solid and sustained midcard push and a IC or US title reign (a place where I feel he is most valuable instead of being pushed down to the undercard), but I am sorry he could not take up Bryans spot even with a WWE Rocket/following. Bryan's charisma and presence are second to none and that's something that Kidd unfortunetely won't be able to match for a long time. Bryan's promos have also improved over the years even since his indy days, often using his personal life to make intense and passionate promos that have helped that part of his game even more. So I respectfully disagree that he would be able to fill Bryans shoes or the "you could put anyone under 5,11 in his place" argument

Despite the fact that guys like Kidd and Gabriel are great wrestlers, there's a reason why people investing their time and money on DB. In the Indies, internationally, and in the E
Opinions or not, there are claims about Daniel Bryan that can be easily backed up. That he is safe, aware, and versatile in the ring, that he can get an audience investing in his matches, and in his character. That he can make the ridiculous moments absolutely fun to watch for a great many people. That he puts his heart and soul into this business, and there are numerous fans and people within the business that can see and appreciate that.
You don't have to like him. But his impact, and what that says about him as a wrestler, cannot be denied.
