CM Punk coming out and interrupting moments like Lawler's return from a heart attack, Cena giving Flair the Superstar of the Year Slammy, and the tribute to Paul Bearer was awesome. Damn you people for cheering him! He's the most evil man that ever lived damnit!

Damn you people for cheering him! He's the most evil man that ever lived damnit! I agree. I sort of has roots in my 'Do we understand heels?' thread. The concept is simple. If you cheer a heel, chances are they won't continue being a heel and the very thing you like about them in the first place (e.g their assholeness) will likely be gone. But people just think "I'll cheer who I want and who gives a toss if it's detrimental to mine and everyone else's enjoyment of the product" - so that's all that matters, apparently.

I really hate this thinking. It's like when TNA tried to tell the Impact zone they were "cast members".

It is all that matters, since crowd reactions determine everything.

Punk shouldn't have even turned heel in the first place. No one wanted to boo him. That's why he got cheers during that run. I cheered him to let WWE know they'd made a mistake.
