....on his first WWE title win.
I'm thinking as early as next year to be honest. I'd imagine they'll start building him up mid 2014 for a late year win.
haha, either that or rush it for Black History Month.

Yeah, I'm just as excited as I was about the imminent first WWE Championship wins of Cody Rhodes, Ryback and Mark Henry.

He's gotta start cutting promos and showing his personality on TV before I can make a prediction. I like watching him truck people in the ring, but I don't think he's all that over yet. Right now he's just jacked up dude who's proud to be IC champion.

Nah he's terrible. He's got nothing other than his size. His "This town's sports team - rar, rar, rar" promo a few weeks back was one of the worst attempts at genuinely trying to elevate someone I've ever seen. If he was a heel and he wanted heat for trying to get 'lazy' pops it would have worked.

He's getting some good pops though... Crowd is always hyped for the big ending. I do agree that he needs more mic time but Big E is a matter of time imho. He's going to be champ probably by 2016 or so if WWE keeps with him and he doesn't drop the ball.

he's not there yet. hell, Roman Reigns is farther along. what WWE needs is for some of the main event guys they have right now *coughBigShowcough* to step aside for good before they can start rocketing everyone up the card again.

I like him for his Twitter account, but that's about it. Good lord, let him show some personality, the dude has a ton of it. 99% of fans don't care how much a dude can lift, they care about characters.

While I do see Langston and Reigns getting moved into the main event slot in a year, it's way too soon to declare him as a future world champion. I get that some people are calling him dull but he has personality on the mic. Just let him behave like NXT Big E Langston and not generic black guy #7. He does have the crowd support and he's growing as a wrestler. Last thing you want to do is rush someone too soon on the big stage and expose them.

I don't think it's inevitable by any means. I'm going to say never.

Can we get Ryback on track again instead? I don't see how Reigns or Langston (who are greener) are having theoretical rockets strapped to them.

Right now? Never.
IF they let him show some of his personality on the show at some point... maybe eventually...

Big E's the IC champ and he's teaming with the #1 main guy (Cena) and the #2 main guy (Punk) to take on the most dominating team in the WWE for the past year (The Shield). In the past few years that hasn't happened, I don't remember, with the IC Champ. He's being looked at as a main contender here pretty early. I say it's only a matter of time. I expect him to drop the belt in 2014 and move up the card. If he's not WWE Champ sometime in 2015 I'll be surprised. Him and Reigns.
