I thought this might be a cool way to know what people truly want from the product.
For 2014, you get to demand one change in WWE - anything goes. You could ask for a mega-push, a moderate push, for a depush, for someone to be hired, for a certain storyline, or a more broad alteration in how WWE does things. What would you ask for?
For me, I'd ask for the women's division to be booked consistently. Just for a year. I'd ask for a handful of capable women to be hired (though no one by name, in keeping with my own rules), for more mic time and especially more freedom in matches. If by the end of the year the division doesn't actively add to WWE, if stars aren't mad and the crowds are still mostly dead? They could revert back to their old ways.

I'd want Vince to have absolutely zero input on creative. Let the writers do their job without having to write stuff "for Vince".

I'd cancel the diva division.

Less wrestling on Raw, there's far too much nowadays.

I'd cancel the diva division. Same here to say this, or at least tone it wayyyyy down. Why do you think people usually say they loved wwf in 1997? There wasn't any womens!(ok there wasnt ant in 96 either) Edit: I'd also consider saying go back to 2 hour raws (getting rid of the divas division would help that out also)

I was tempted to wish "Triple H switches to full time off camera, backstage role" but my bigger wish is to see Divas get more time on Raw and SmackDown.

Honestly? My wish? My wish is for Daniel Bryan to win the Royal Rumble to go on to main event Mania. I want this not only for my own personal gain but because if anyone BUT Bryan is going against Orton for the title at Mania I think I lose all hope in WWE.

I want William Regal on my TV again & NXT doesn't count. Even if he just does commentary, he'd get a much better use on TV.

This match. At Mania. With a good, proper build & Punk playing the "Straight Edge Means I'm Better Than You" dickhead to the hilt. That is, quite literally, all I really want the E to do. I can tolerate everything else because the stuff they do right they do really right IMO...and I am constantly entertained by Punk, Bryan, the Wyatt's and Ziggles right now to keep my interest in the product otherwise. But this match? This feud?? Even if it's a total one off (which it should be of course) is all I really want.

My wish would probably be for Christian to finally get a credible run at the top. If he had a WWE World Title reign like his ECW Title reign, that'd be fantastic.

I'd ask for a Daniel Bryan world title win at Mania.
Though if that were going to happen anyway, I'd instead ask for a decently booked divas division. I don't want to waste my wish.

No more stop-start booking. You push a guy consistently or you don't push him at all - no more "we've gotta' see if he really wants it" bullshit.
Failing that, fire Kevin Dunn (preferably out of a cannon into the sun).

Return of out-of-shape(relatively) jobbers complete with stretcher jobs, arrogant pins(flexing while pinning the jobber with one foot),etc..

I'd want this year to have just a slight bit of an edge to it. Not Attitude Era "sex sells", but early Attitude Era edge--the same kind of seriousness and quasi-gritty feel of the 1996/1997. I don't mind John Cena being a the top guy or a top guy.
He needs to have a blood feud with somebody, preferably an up-and-coming heel. It needs to start off like a normal Cena feud. He may win the first match. He then needs to be defeated decisively in the second match. It's imperative that this guy needs to hate and resent Cena--needs to have a fiery jealously of him.
Cena needs to come out, business as usual, the next night on RAW. He needs to be jokey--he doesn't need to let it get to him. That sort of thing. The guy Cena is feuding with needs to blindside him and beat him up pretty bad. He needs to bust him wide open. Cena needs to be beaten down to the point that he needs help going to the back.
The use of blood needs to be a special, one time, serious thing. Announcers should apologize for it after the situation calms down next segment.
This needs to build up to the grudge match. The heel needs to win the grudge match in convincing fashion.
Cena needs to finally sell a loss like it's ruined his life. He needs to walk out. He needs to say virtually nothing besides a cryptic tweet thanking all of his fans for their support and whatnot. He needs to vanish for 4-5 months. The Heel needs to be the guy that sent Cena packing.
Cena being knocked off of his perch needs to usher in a time where wrestlers are hungry and opportunity for advancement needs to seem real for somebody who is willing to take it. I'm not advocating a series of aggressive heels--just a story of anything seeming possible for a guy to achieve in the WWE, no matter his perceived rank in the card.
I think this subtle shift in focus could get a lot of people over--and get Cena even further over when he makes his triumphant return. His attitude needs to change slightly, but he shouldn't turn heel or anything unless it's an amazing prospect.

I'd want WWE to optimize it's resources to the best possible manner for a year. Just a year. Tell consistent, logical and non-insulting stories. Use their roster to it's potential and use every cog in the machine, giving every character some manner of spotlight shined on them. To make tag teams matter, to make Divas outside of AJ Lee matter, to make the undercard in general mean something again.
