Why did WWE change the theme of Goldberg? I mean, they had the rights to it I persume, but they replaced what was an awesome theme with that bad carbon copy?
I mean, Booker T never changed his theme and friggin' Chavo kept his theme for a while from WCW, so...what gives, WWE?
I thought of this because I was thinking of the times how much I hated hearing that theme throughout his run in WWE.

Even bigger disappointment than Goldberg theme change for me was...
THE LOSS OF FAKE "SWEET CHILD OF MINE" DDP THEME!!!
His WCW theme was a masterpiece. The WWE version could never live up to the standard set by Self High Five, although it was a good theme in its own right.

Goldberg's WWE theme was waaaay better than his WCW theme. Totally. I'll agree that they should've kept DDP's Nirvana rip-off theme. Probably didn't want to face the copyright troubles that no doubt would've come about.

Why did WWE change the theme of Goldberg? I mean, they had the rights to it I persume, but they replaced what was an awesome theme with that bad carbon copy? Because WWE probably wanted Goldberg to be seen as a WWE guy, not an ex-WCW guy, and to them changing the WCW music was necessary to get past that. Also I'm guessing Goldberg didn't object to the change. Booker probably kept his music because (a) he came in during the Invasion, hence having the same music was logical, (b) he may've wanted to keep it, or (c) no one really cared. DDP lost his likely due to the similarity to the Nirvana song and someone being fearful they'd get sued or something.

It was Bossman, they said it on Raw the next night.
What? Oh. Sorry. Reflex.

My biggest mystery is who did Benoit make do pushups. It was Matt Striker. He talked about it in a shoot he did. Benoit was secretly cool with him, but he had to be hard on him in front of everyone because Striker had heat for some silly reason (I can't remember why). It was really fascinating to hear.

I always preferred Goldberg's WWE theme. It builds to a more dramatic crescendo.

Maybe it's because I didn't watch enough WCW during his heyday, but I can barely tell the difference between the WCW/WWE versions of his theme.
