We will get Final Fantasy X-3 but it will be a crossover game where Lightning ends up in the X universe.

Not a FAN (pun intended) of this idea.
I would prefer if they just focused on getting FF 15 right. It has been a long time since they made a Final Fantasy that was actually good. So 15 need's to bring it. A PC port would be great because I have zero interest in either PS4 or XBOX One.

Oh, good god no! X wasn't THAT good. At least not good enough to warrant a sequel, let alone two of them.

I thought X and X-2 were both decent games but not really good enough to warrant a sequel. Although, an Auron, Braska and Jecht prequel would actually be awesome since they were all great characters.
Hope if they make one, that's the route they go.

You just know it will be a romantic comedy. Like, the fate of the world will be hanging in the balance and yadda yadda, but we all know what the script will really focus on. Tidus and Yuna will get into a fight early in the game, then after they nearly die they fall in love again thanks to the wacky adventures of Tidus McConaughey.

As if one sequel to Final Fantasy X wasn't enough...

*sigh* was anybody really asking for this? FFX wasn't that good to begin with, then they made the entirely unnecessary FFX-2 which predictably bombed and was panned by fans. Why make another one?
Seriously, FFXIII can get two sequels, FFX can get at least one, FF7 can have seventy billion it seems, and we still can't have one for FF8, especially considering of all the Final Fantasy games it's probably the one that left the most things open and most potential for a sequel? FML.

FML. Why is Final Fantasy X hated? Honestly I don't think FFX is hated. Heck, it made a lot of money though of course selling well is not an indicator that a work is popular. But for me, it's boring, repetitive gameplay that basically has you following straight lines with no room for exploration or side quests (especially considering the Final Fantasy franchise, at least back in the days, had built its reputation on its large open worlds with lots of hidden locations, secrets and side quests), lots of bad characters (people give Tidus a lot of shit, but I'll give him a pass as I merely find him bland. Wakka, on the other hand, makes me hope a mad scientist will one day create a glove that allows people to punch fictional characters), underdeveloped story and themes when they could have been very interesting (especially since it dealt with religious fanaticism and was released a few months before 9/11, so you'd think it would have been especially relevant), a level up system that is virtually no different from the usual "gain new skills once you've got enough experience" system only annoying and by the time you can finally make your characters branch out it's completely useless as you HAVE to start by teaching them low level skills when their main skills are already maxed out. I wouldn't say I downright hated it but it WAS a big disappointment to me, especially after what a blast FFIX had been and it saddens me that they seem to have made all those problems even worse with FFXIII (although I till say XII deserves a lot more credit than it's being given). I really hope Square-Enix manages to get back on tracks with XV. I know they still have it in them, I just hope they finally remember what made this franchise the juggernaut it used to be (hint: NOT following a straight line for twenty hours).

More Lulu = More win for me. Seriously though no need for a third at all. Loved X and actually enjoyed X2 but cant see the point of an X3.

So, hoping for a Final Fantasy game that's original and innovative is pretty pointless by this point isn't it?
