If by exciting matches you mean basic, bland, and tedious matches. If by compelling angles you mean angles that have been done before (and better) with disappointing resolutions. If by funny you mean 'forced' segments. Tag division is strong at the moment, I'll give you that. If by great production values you mean soulless TV shows with bad camera work. If you by strong media presence you mean a soulless company trying too hard to be accepted in the mainstream, and titles that have meaning (I guess, I don't really care or know who the champions are in WWE), then yes, WWE has it all. TNA is just better than the WWE to me by a wide margin. 2013 is REALLY not the year someone should be making this argument. The WWE in ring product was spectacular this year. Spectacular if you like WWE style.

What is this phantom WWE style? Daniel Bryan was heavily featured in main events. So was John Cena. So was Big Show. So was The Shield. All of those guys work in radically different ways. The WWE had just as many guys throwing knees to the face and taking german suplexes off the top rope as it did chinlocks and neckbreakers this year. The "WWE style" is a bygone concept, there's a huge variety of wrestlers.

It's still better then WWE IMO. Than* If you're going to emulate something from TNA, don't do "wheeeeere heeere" I'm almost given up on TNA but do hope it gets better.

I can't be the only one can I? Please tell me I'm not. I knew that one was going to get scoffs, but it's true (and TNA is guilty of it as well, there's only so much you can do storyline wise without resorting to Russo levels of booking. Anyways TNA's characters are more 'likeable' to me than the WWE superstars).

Most WWE wrestlers don't even use wrestling holds/submissions in a match (I'm not talking about finishers) besides the basic chinlock.

If you think CM Punk wrestles similar matches to Tensai I can't help you. I just see the shows in a fundamentally different way than you do.

Because the matches aren't cookie cutter as you're making it out to be. Everyone got their own signature style and moveset. This isn't like in 2003/2004 where everyone from OVW looked and wrestled the same. Luke Harper is different from Big E Langston. The Usos don't do the same match as the Rhodes Bros nor does the Real Americans.

So you all came here to tell us TNA sucks?
Things are looking up in my opinion. A lot of dead weight has been leaving. Hulk Hogan finally left *YAY* Eric Bishoff left * DOUBLE YAY* Jeff Jarrett also finally left *TRIPLE YAY*
The people coming in to replace them will be better, because of the simple fact that it would be impossible for them to be worse. There's lots of new talent and we are all excited about Ethen Carter the 3rd. Rockstar Spud has fit in great and Lei'D Tapa has breathed a bit of new life into the knockout division.
So I am excited for 2014. Can you say the same WWE fans? Enjoy 12 more months of McMahon/Helmsley ego and more pointless threads where you kid yourselves into believing Daniel Bryan isn't being buryed.

The same can be said about enjoy a year of Dixie Carter leading another heel stable and main eventer Gunner. Again, people can like what they want to like. Hell, XPW had a fanbase. But making this a "Us vs Them" board feud benefits no one.

Has he finally admitted Foley, Rock and Austin carried him? Are they firing Stephanie and replacing her with someone who can actually do the job? Yeah, you WWE fans are going to have a great 2014. As for TNA, as I said it transition time, so of course it looks weak. Buuuut new talent is on the way and we keep hearing about new X-Division guys and new knockouts are being considered. 2014 looks much better for TNA then it does for WWE.

Yes, they feature stars such as Rockstar Spud, Magnus, Jessie & Robbie E. I mean, I enjoy guys like Bro-Mans but they're not someone that draws people in. I do however keep watching for Bad Influence and Bobby Roode because they generally deliver.

Dude, I care the same amount about Helmsley/McMahon antics as I do about Heel Dixie which is no f***s given.

Oh my God, if this really turns into a "the company I like is better so nyah" pissing contest I'll lock this and nuke the thread and everybody in it from orbit.
If you're thinking you're going to play the silly fanboy game, go out and party for New Year's instead.

I've quite enjoyed TNA this year. Sure some of the storyline were drug out far too long (looking at you Aces and 8s and don't try hiding in the back there Bully Ray heel turn) but I did enjoy them. I do think things have looked up since they booted Hogan and especially Bischoff to the curb as well. The talent pool is a lot weaker which must improve and I think JJ leaving is a HUGE blow to them and I do question if Dixie has what it takes to not only carry things on but improve the company.

Here's what I'll say on the matter, with what I hope is an obvious caveat that my own opinions don't invalidate anybody else's feelings or viewing habits:
I don't religiously watch TNA, and I rarely watch WWE, even when it seems like TNA is in a down period and WWE is doing well. My reason for this is simple: I watched WWE consistently back in 2004, stopped in 2005, and every time I've gone back and watched a show since then I've felt like the entire thing still feels like 2004, as if the entire presentation is exactly the same.
Now, clearly, that's not the case: WWE has a different commentary team, different wrestlers, different match-ups, etc....I mean, it's been nearly ten years, so duh. But the way the show is formatted and presented, even when I hear that guys like CM Punk, Bryan Danielson, Seth Rollins/Tyler Black, and Brock Lesnar are all on a show I find myself feeling completely apathetic. It stems back from the reason I quit watching in 2005: it hit me then that WWE simply isn't made to cater to somebody like me.
So yeah, it's a company that has the best talkers in the world, many of the best workers in the world, the best production values and largest market saturation, but I just get such minimal entertainment out of it for myself that I can't be bothered to follow beyond reading Brandon Stroud's "Best and Worst" column or checking the forums.
Meanwhile I find myself checking in on TNA much more often, even if, again, I don't regularly watch it, either. That part of it really speaks to where I'm at as a wrestling fan, though; I don't feel like I have the time or energy to really dedicate to following a promotion as closely as I followed, say, ROH and TNA in 2005-2008 or so.
There's times when almost all of us can objectively see something in wrestling and say "that's well done", or "that was done really poorly", but there's just as many times when somebody could say "that was well done...but I'm not entertained".
